aha! i managed to find the vows, courtesy of eleridragon. i think yami and i came up with it after i proposed, but it was so long ago. it's part of my sig for a reason  ;) ... but enough self-promotion

*Ahem!*
"Do you, Anderstians, take each other, and the thread, and most importantly Anders, to be the one you make fun of, but still love, in crazyness and in seriousness, for better or worse.
Will you scream collectively at the dreadful modding, repel all attempts to troll, and be patient in explaining to all comers the wonderousness that is Anders.
Will you post mildly nsfw pics and cute gifs, will you all go 'awww' at the kitten pics, and defend Anders right to love who the hell he pleases without prejudice.

I now pronounce you thread and spouse.  Let none make asunder what Bioware has put together."

Awesome. I got the saddest sad-face of sad when I realized I had missed all the glorious vow-making, you have no idea. That's what you get for being late to the Anders party, but better late than never, yes? When did you guys decide to put a ring on it anyway?

Hey! You leave f!Hawke's manliness alone - I know mine at least isn't ladylike ;)

There's tomboyishness and then there's "I am a 200+lb man inside these bones, really." Really, even the butch-est female still won't move like a male does.

Plus, I complained about the F!Warden's super-manly wide-legged run, but F!Hawke's swishy-armed, elbows-tight prancy girly run isn't much of an improvement. And every time she insists on cocking her hip while she's just standing, I wonder if it's an old injury that makes her favor one leg like that. Or if someone actually thinks that's how women stand.

Oh man, I wish I could be bothered to look up the running thing when someone last mentioned the flaily run...
okay, I can totally be bothered. F!Hawke running.

It was more the stuff about the sitting and the general movements, I always picture f!Hawke as a tomboy - moreso for the rogues and warriors because she's been in the army and I can't think of any feminine militiary ladies in my acquaintance (not that they'd want to be considered feminine anyway). So I like that she has the same posture for the most part as m!Hawke...

But anyway to bring this back to Anders... I am totally married to the Anders thread - with Anders being the focus of all my attention - it is the most fun place to be. Posted Image

Oh, and UK peeps - starting to look at the London MCM expo in Ocotober. If anyone else is going, let me know! Will defo be going to the tiny one in Manchester at the end of July but I think the rest of you are all down south! Posted Image

lol @ running discussion

Fiance laughs about F!Hawke's mannerisms, in general. He's got F!Hawke in his game and I've got M!Hawke in mine. Yeah, unless there's food preparation involved, we don't do gender roles too well. He keeps saying how no woman he knows stands or runs like that, twirling her hands and sashaying for no reason.

Oh, and both of us are romancing Anders. He can run a female character without it threatening his sexual identity, but he can't run a lesbian, apparently. I would have thought he would have been all over Isabela. With her dark hair, dark skin, and exaggerated assets, she's definitely his physical type (said the red-haired, ivory-skinned person who is definitely not his physical type).

well my sister is in the army and she's a fitness freak rather than a tomboy. she appreciates male attention too much to become one of the lads! and she adores the way the army uniform draws attention to her waist... so i really think she qualifies!!

i'm not going to the MCM, i'll be a bit occupied then.
and yes - i'm as far south as you can get (and west). i can see the sea from my window  B)

Me, too! Only minus the feeling bad. Posted Image

I love that picture very, very much. And I love the Naked F!Hawke one below, too.  I'm pretty certain they're why my Hawke is such a nudist.

So, that's why mages wear such feathery outfits. I'm sure his pre-Justice self would really appreciate having that coat

My childhood is pleased. Now I just miss the show.

I wonder what kind of abilities a gargoyle/golem/mage/spirit of justice has. Because that sounds just a little over-the-top.

That is amazing! I didn't think Anders could get any hotter, and yet...

Also, is it wrong that I saw this gorgeous fine art scupture on an art blog and immediately thought "now there's a successful merger with a fade spirit"?

*giggles* I like the imagery of Andersgoyle running along on all fours, feet padding along the ground, snarling and growling and glowing. "YOU WILL NEVER HURT ANOTHER GARGO--ER, MAGE!"

@soapbubbles: I think that a couple of those things cancel themselves out. If a spirit can rip someone apart with their bare hands, well, a gargoyle can do that already. *scratches head* On the other hand, a gargoyle/golem is more resistant to damage, and when Anders is in Vengeance mode, he's LESS resistant... Hmm. Yes, I think Andersgoyle is OP. *nod*

@CGG: Thanks. ^^ And that sculpture is gorgeous. It wouldn't have been MY first thought, but it's not a bad one. Especially since I've made Anders an obsession to fill all the aching voids of loneliness in my soul. *weep* Perhaps I SHOULD marry the thread. Hmm. To keep things legit....

EDIT: Name fail. D: I am embarrassed.

I don't think Flemmeth merged with a demon at all, despite what the stories say.

I think Flemeth merged with the essence of an Old God. In a different manner then Morrigan's baby was created, but still, she is just about everything I'd expect a fusion of mage and Dragon God to be: powerful, immortal, and full of old magics that the rest of the world forgot long ago.

And a dragon. Can't be a dragon god if you're not a dragon.

I've got this niggling feeling that Flemeth's the Dread Wolf.
