Awww I bet she is a angel!!
Actually when I played it the first time I didn't know who to choose but ended up falling for Anders. I will admit the poop bomb moment was kinda "Oh my gosh!" I was hoping for a Mage Revolution but that did surprise me and I told Anders to go away while my Hawke sided with the Mages and then Anders was there! (I think that was when I almost ended it but somehow I knew my Hawke really loved him and they stayed together though I was thinking through his last speech "Anders did you impregnate my Hawke?!?!") Fenris ended up with Isabela and I ended up shipping them and Sebastian was all "I will come after you and your precious Anders" I have to say that was his hottest moment but still...every game-play I try to romance another man I end up falling for the man who cares more about others then himself and maybe a headache but he acts selfless when helping people and that's why I like him more in DA2.And no I don't think when he says "I don't want to hurt you" is Twilight like I mean he has a freakin spirit in him! I dunno if I was glowing I would be careful as well with who I have a serious love with.
Well need me to link you to some Kink fics then? I remember reading one Anders/Hawke fanfic called "Heavy in Your Arms" and Anders died I was "Okay will only read what people wrote on kink meme..."
oh yeah we need a Anders image!

Hell, if it turns out the Legacy does involve the Architect, I can't believe Anders will have no opinion on the matter...

@Dreamer: If it does involve him Anders better damn well have an opinion! Or I will be upset. Also I would love to have a chance to talk to Justice. I mean seriously I am a huge Justice fangirl >_>

I wonder if it is the Architect or if BW are just re-using the model. Or that's not the 2,0000 year old legacy monster.
I think the legacy monster is the actual first smart Darkspawn despite what people thought in Awakening, or what even the Architect thought.

What with him being a Grey Warden and the DLC showing Grey Wardens again?

@TotoroTori: When Sebastian threatens Anders at the end, I really wish there was an option "stab Sebastian", cause I wanted to kill that raving Chantry lackey before he can hurt my 'precious' Anders
@Heidenreich: this is the trailer

@dragonageobsessed I don't know that it qualifies as sexy, but this is my favorite piece of Anders artwork. I figure it's been long enough that I can post it here again:

Oh and if you're looking for good fics I suggest checking out the Anders Prompt Group. There are a lot of good submissions there ranging from funny to sad, serious to sexy.

Maybe I've got an Act 2 save somewhere in his file.

If it's like DAO, the automatic DLC save is, technically, before anyone can be stabbed in the back or leave in a fit of rage. So Anders should still be there.
And, before you ask, I totally ran to camp after doing the Warden-Commander ending of Origins to kiss Alistair and tell him how sorry I was.

DID patients don't actively diffuse blame for actions to their alters, though, and the alters aren't created as scapegoats; like, that's just not how DID works.River5 wrote...
I really saw it as a combination of the two. Some aspects used from bipolar disorder, and some aspects used from dissociative identity disorder.
Nothing restrained her to using only a "pure model", so to speak. We are dealing with an hypothetic, supernatural case of spirit possession. So you can be allowed to play with that a lot.
Also, I've never seen a person suffering from bipolarity go "a demon made me do it"... Or create another "entity" in order to take the blame for their bad behaviors. That's more DID.
you're right in that we can't use bipolar disorder as a blanket template for anders' psychology and physiology, because, well, fantasy, but i don't think it's necessary or even possible to reconcile the gaps there with DID, which is a medically controversial subject anyway. i'm much more comfortable, as someone who studied a bit of psychology, labelling anders' mental state as 'based loosely on bipolar disorder as a writing mechanic but with obviously diverging points'.
Actually, the main criteria for DID is the presence of at least two identities, or "personality states" within a single individual. Each of them having their own ways of thinking; their own perceptions of themselve, the world around them, and the way they relate to both; their own behaviors and manierism; and sometimes even their own voice (the voice of the individual will change depending which one is in control).
Although some more severe forms of DID include absolute amnesia when switching from one identity to the next, that is not always the case. There's almost always some form of memory impairment, but for some people suffering from DID, it will manifest more as feeling that they are "outside of their own bodies" with no control over what their other self (or selves) is (or are) doing. So some level of self-awareness remains while "switching".
People suffering from the disorder often have a tendency towards self-persecution, self-sabotaging, and violence. And, under the influence of their "alter", will find themselves engaging in behaviors that they wouldn't normally engage in themselves, while describing the experience as "being a passenger in their own skin", rather than the driver.
So, they will still be there when the actions they perceive as "undesirable" or "unacceptable" are being committed, but think that they have no other choice than to comply to the will of their "alter", who is the one in full control when these situations occur.
So yes, DID patients will readily blame their alter for actions that their "body" have committed, and use them as a scapegoats. With the important precision that they 100% BELIEVE in that "alter". It's not some excuse that they have conveniently invented on a conscious, voluntary level.
In psychiatry, DID is seen basically as a coping mechanism. The person's "very unconvential and pathological" way to resolve life's dilemmas... And/or a way for someone to dissociate themselves from earlier physical or psychological traumas that they are no longer able to endure (letting "someone else" deal with their pain and anger).
There is also a high incidence of comorbidity between DID, and other mental illnesses, such as bipolarity.
So Anders is actually a pretty strong case of DID. The more "classic" manifestation being when Justice takes over, and Anders has no recollection of what the spirit has been doing or saying (the way that DID is often envisioned in the popular culture).
But the rest of the time, he still fits the diagnostic cluster for DID.
I am neither a psychiatrist or psychologist, but have studied a bit of both fields, and worked on a mental health patients unit for some time (I'm a nurse). Though, to be fair, I have never met a single case of DID. That's actually pretty rare.

That's reminds me again, why isn't Anders allowed a kiss end game like the others? I mean it looks like we may all die and stuff and all I got was a viva la revolution speech. unjust...sigh

I really hope we can talk to Justice in the dlc, the fade was just wasted, I really wanted to talk to him when for the moment he wasn't all angsty/Justice mode.

From the trailer of this DLC it seems like they're setting Hawke up to be a savior character like the Warden & Shepard. That DA2 was only her prologue, so to speak. Do you think this means our "everygirl" heroine* will be back and just as larger than life as her video game siblings in DA3, or that this is her last hurrah? If it's the former, what's to become of our beloved apostate?
*Feel free to switch for gender neutral identifiers.

Well, if they bring back Hawke for DA3, all I hope is that they will do an Ashley / Kaidan on us...
For example: If you spared Anders and sided with mages, he comes back as your companion (and possible love interest)... If you executed him, Sebastian is the one who comes back as a companion instead (since you have to choose between one or the other at the end without any way around it).
If you had Sebastian leave (by sparing Anders), and sided with the Templars (something that always results in Anders' death, even if he fights against the Cirlce with you), then neither of them are back; or Sebastian, having learned that Anders is dead, revises his position and comes back.
But I doubt that Hawke will be back. "Dragon Age" seems more about the story of what's happening in Thedas during the "Dragon Ages"; than it is a story about a single man (or woman's) quest to save the galaxy.

I agree with that last part, but that's not what they seem to want to head toward.

I hope Hawke's not back in DA3. Probably because due to the companion death variables ( I know ah yes "variables") there's a high chance of some companions not coming back in as much capacity of others. Though if he does come back I'll inclinedto believe he'll be on his own or with an LI for a short time before something makes them seperate for most of the game.

Just watched the trailer (on my cell since the monsoon seems to have knocked out the DSL) and that just looks like Anders fighting in Vengeance mode. But I guess we can hope to interact with Justice anyway! Could be a hint. Come on July 26th
