The few lines at the beginning of the trailer lead me to believe that Hawke will discover that Malcolm was a Grey Warden. It's just a theory of course, and I could be totally wrong, but that's the impression I am getting. Here are the lines:

As it is nearly impossible to have offspring after becoming a Grey Warden, much less three, Mal would have to have become a grey warden AFTER breeding, so I think this is unlikely.  What IS likely is that some Hawke ancestor 2000 years ago became a Grey Warden after breeding, or was a brother/ sister or somesuch.

Thank you so much for this information. Like i said earlier, I'll take about anything. I just thought it would be odd if he didn't speak up at all, considering the Darkspawn and Wardens. So if he has at least some special content, I'm, well, content.

Now I really can't wait to get the DLC (and I'm extra embarrassed to have Varranders floating at the top of the page).

Woo-hoo! *happy dance* That's fantastic news! Heck, considering the log I keep for references of single sentences from Anders throughout DA2, any new content for him is welcome and appreciated. I'm even more excited now!

Don't be embarrassed! The Maker himself approves of Varranders. But I'll nitpick and say that Anders' thumb seems to sit on the wrong side of his hand in the last panel. 

LOL, I never noticed that. It's going to drive me crazy if I don't fix it. I knew something looked wrong about it. This is what happens when you draw on the fly.

Thank you for the info! I've been anxious to know this and haven't gotten a firm answer over on the official Legacy announcement thread. I love Anders and was heartbroken to execute him, so it'll be nice to have some more screen time with him in my main PT. ^___^

Well, I do use the HDMI cable on the 360, and the iPhone films in HD.  Who knows how dazzling it could be?

Anders should have more faith in me and not give me such looks.

My thoughts exactly. And considering party members weren't even included in some of the Origins DLC, I'll take what I can get.
