I smell another "Liara DLC" like conspiracy here. Especially because of the monotone, well, tone.

I'll be disappointed if Bioware doesn't go this route for DLC, actually.  The game is PERFECTLY built to have these interesting DLC missions during the time skips.  It'd be a shame if they didn't explore that somehow.

I'd like a time skip DLC involving Anders, specifically between Acts 2 and 3, due to his Codex entries.  They imply that during/after the events of Act 2 (his killing or almost killing the mage girl), he seriously backed off on his vengeance quest.  Then by the beginning of Act 3, he is in full swing again.  Could there have been some kind of incident during the time skip that reignited the fire?

Or we could just have Hawke learning to knit.  Remember Anders mentioning he planned on taking up knitting during Awakening?  They can knit scarves together and send them to Meredith every Saturnalia.

EDIT:

leaves little memos around the house like "Remember: Red vial is to
disarm the bomb, blue vial is to make it seem like the bomb is disarmed.
Green vial is pine scent, to mask that crumbled masonry and death
stench."

LOL, he really does drop some heavy hints.

Anders: Do you want some exploded decimated Chantry for breakfast?
Hawke: Come again?
Anders: Pancakes.  I meant pancakes.

I believe it has been stated that any expansions will be about Hawke specifically. I doubt a lot of people would want to buy a DLC about a character that's overall hated now either.

And yet, an option for "you want gunpowder and fire?" never comes up in the conversation wheel.

Just a heads up for those who want to bang Fenris and Isabela and Anders, I found that flirting with/sleeping with Isabela before doing Fenris' personal quests will ruin your chances with Fenris.

Also, I would recommend telling him to go the first time, so he shows up later all angsty. No glowy kiss, but I like the animation better and he's pretty damn sexy when he's "I've been thinking about you. In fact, I've been able to think of little else."

@Miri and Sebastian is ALWAYS at the estate after sex with Isabela. I think he's secretly hoping for an invite, or a quick peek (since the door is more than likely wide open).

CHASTE MY ARSE!!!

He just goes back to the Chantry afterwards for a bit of self-flagellation.

YUKI YOU WIN THE INTERNET.

RE: the crazy convo - this reinforces my opinion that he needs your support in order to not be completely bonkers. *shudders*. It would make sense for it not to trigger on the 100% paths for both sides, although I do think the rivalry path makes him more crazy. Or seem more crazy. Crazypants aren't so crazypants when there's more than one person wearing them.

Who is allowing the wearing of pants???

Does anyone know what happens if you choose the 'can't you see Donnic isn't right for you' option when Donnic's standing right there?

You mean what does Donnic say? Or what does romanced Anders say?

If I recall correctly, Donnic's reaction is the same as with other choices, him asking what's going on.

Aveline, actually. She can't be oblivious if you're that obvious...can she?

I just saw no point in my character remaining in Kirkwall when she sided with mages.

Point or not, I don't think Hawke even gets that option since the templars are gunning for her.

No, certainly not about him... but maybe some mage/templar kinda quest that he would care about and comment on.  Seems doubtful,  but it'd be interesting.

If the companions aren't even in the DLC, then bleh.  That would make me sad.

Well, the people who hate Anders don't have to buy DLC that's Anders specific, should it ever exist. Much like I'm glad that I pre-ordered DA2 early enough to have The Exiled Prince DLC included. I really just don't think that Sebastian was worth another $8 or so, but that's my opnion.

Not everyone hates Anders.

If the DLC is like Return to Ostagar and Soldier's Peak we'll be able to take our companions along and they can have romance-specific dialogue and extra banter. That's what I'm hoping for.

Not that I'd say no to an Anders specific DLC. And I think even people who hate him are interested in the whole Anders/Justice dynamic.

I can't see them doing a Witch Hunt style DLC for Anders, although who knows. Morrigan and the dark ritual were just as divisive last time around. And he does seem to be the major focus of the plot, especially in act 3.

Anders sharing his dream about the Grand Cleric.

When I think about that he's already planning to blow her up at this point it's actually pretty messed up.

The only romantic banter in RtO was that old bat Wynne flirting with Alistair:sick:

You only get the manic dialogue post-"Justice" if you're not yet eligible for the end-stage approval dialogue. So, you need to not be at 100% friend or rival and talk to him after "Justice," to get to see him go crazy-manic.

hmm weird I was at 100% rivalry in act 1 lol. But I got the crazy manic dialogue in Act 3. This thread moves sooo fast, I know this was pages ago, but while I was asleep this thread has grown about 20 pages.

What is crazy manic dialogue?

Is it when Justice bursts out?

If so I too got that at full rivalry.

It's the one, post-"Justice" quest where he gets all excited/crazy/happy about having placed the bomb. He talks about feeling a happiness greater than mortals feel or something equally crazy sounding. I never got it in the friendship path, but a few people have since posted that they got it despite being 100% rival.

Holy crap!! That scene is terrifying!

"If you want mages to be free you have to prove they're not dangerous."

Welp.

I'd be interested in a Leliana's Song style DLC. Have all of the party members sitting around a table at the Hanged Man swapping tales of their exploits.

For instance we could have Anders tell the tale of one of his escapes from the Circle Tower.

Oh the raging. The raging on these forums if there does end up being one(Anders centric DLC).

I've read too many detailed fantasies about him being killed by posters here today in threads. That aren't even about him or the mages. I don't mind someone not liking a character, but that's saying something.

Yeah, that's the one.  The only people who have gotten it seems to be people that went rivalry or didn't have 100% either way at that point. I still haven't had anyone who went friendship romance say they got it, which is why I had asked the question in the first place.

So....does this mean that Justice set that bomb and not actually Anders?  He says the black outs come more and more and he's losing himself, so Justice is taking control more often by Act 3.  I don't buy the whole they are one entity thing, Anders and Justice are clearly two separate entities living in one body, and it seems Justice is the stonger of the two.  Damn his character just gets more awesome the more you play.

Note to self: don't get 100% rivalry this play through ;)

<Merrill voice> Did I miss something dirty? </Merrill voice>

On another Anders-ish note, does anyone know if Adam Howden voiced anyone important in Fable 3?  He (and Lady Hawke) are both credited in it, but I don't think they're the male/female hero or the main male/female LI.  I guess they might just be random townspeople, but I'm kinda inspired to put in Fable 3 and see if I can hear them anywhere.
