I was just being precautions, I know how some unpopular opinions are "welcomed" on BSN and I didn't want to give off the wrong impression.
So as to not make a post completely off-topic, I'll post a query that I'm curious about that could spark some on-topic conversation.
Do you guys think Anders will be more stable after blowing up the Chantry? Or do you expect him to repeat a similar pattern? Or maybe something else entirely.
I have thought about that. Honestly, I'm not really sure (obviously since I don't write Anders) but...imo I just can't really see him pulling something that big again. He already did what he wanted, he effectively created a situation where people were forced to stop "playing" at being neutral and choose sides and therefore created a war that has been going on for 3 years. So, no, I don't really see why it would be at all necessary for him to do that again. I do believe he would want to be actively involved in this war though, which is why I really do hope we find out what happens with his character (if the PC chose to leave him alive) and what he has been doing. If he thought it was necessary to do something like that again though, then yeah I think he would...but it would probably be a more concentrated attack (I would hope) without as much potential for civilian casualities.
As far as being more stable...I would like to say...yes? but tbh, there's no way to know. He appears to be relatively fine at the end of DA2 on friendship path, like he is ready for what is to come...but he does show remorse for what he did and I have a feeling it would end up hitting him even harder after they left Kirkwall. It's something he will have to live with for the rest of his life, and that is a worse fate than even death. But I think that since he is the one that pretty much put all of this into action, it is a total cop-out to just let him accept death. If you wanted a war, Anders, you are damn well sticking around to fight it. That's how I see it. So in a way, yes, I think he would be more stable - because he has FINALLY gained at least some ground on what he hopes to accomplish in the long run.
