I played WoW for many years, went to one of my guild officers' weddings a few weekends ago. Alliance on Dark Iron, Horde on Cho'gall. I quit about six month ago... at first it was due to Mass Effect addiction, and then I just... didn't feel like playing. This happens to me periodically.

I don't have time for the DLC for several weeks. I'm trying to get a last minute costume together for an Otakon I wasn't expecting to go to. Hehe. Fwooosh.

On the subject of Ser Pounce-a-Lot, this is probably still my favorite Anders fanart of all time.

Is there nowhere to read a review/opinion without this?

IMO it is best to play this DLC imported from somewhere in Act 3, but before "Justice". It is also a lot better if you take a sibling with you, but if Bethany/Carver dies in the Deep Roads I guess that don't work for the "Act 3" part.

Lots of good Anders stuff. The references and the comments are great. Especially the new Anders/Bethany banter.

Edit: Yeah this is definitely an enhanced experience if you take Anders with you, and you are 'mancing him.

@Batteries They talk about her being in the Circle. It's not a huge thing but I liked it.

Hrm I should try it with Fenris. I took Aveline instead. TBH I'm not really sure who Correm's BFF is. It just seemed right to take Bethany, and then having Bethany along made it seem right to have Aveline there, too. Fereldan solidarity and all that for all four of us.

How about I replay it tomorrow? Yeeesss. Take Aniselle instead of Correm.

I don't think I could ever play this without Anders though.

You were Alliance on DI? What was your name, or guild you were in? Yeah, I've quit several times before as well.

I will say one thing, it's nice to know for sure how old Hawke is. Pretty much the max s/he can be. I don't think that's too spoiler-ish?

Makes me revisit my opinion on how old Anders is in relation. And other things. Hrm.

No, it isn't. Age is just a number! How old is Hawke? I've always wondered.

Can't be any older than 25.  Malcolm and Leandra were together that long at least.

It was insinuated that Leandra might of been pregnant when she left Kirkwall.

Hawke is 25 when they first get to Kirkwall, because Leandra was already pregnant when she and Macolm fled to Ferelden together. Or at the very least, close enough to it to make no difference.

Writers tend to like rounded numbers, so I'd go with 25 rather than 24.

I adored Anders all throughout Legacy. For a while I thought that I'd made a mistake taking him with me... but it was totally worth it.

Random question, though. Whatever happened to Anders' claustrophobia? I always strongly identified with his fear of tunnels and dark places, but he never brings it up after Awakening.

With everything Anders has going on in his skull, claustrophobia is the least of his problems. I love the man to itty Justice-scented bits, but he is definitely a pint or two short of a quart.

(Paraphrased from memory.) Man oh man is Legacy good. And the romance is actually acknowledged, which is something I was hoping for but not expecting. I love when games acknowledge little details like that. It makes your choices so much more meaningful.
