Oh neat! Sounds like it would trigger if you played Legacy during Act II after starting the romance.
Also, Varric is trolling Carver hard in the very first banter.

Hahaaa...all of them are making fun of Fenris when he tries to say something nice to Hawke.
"You wish to do this here, in front of everyone?"
"KINKY!"
I'm assuming a diplomatic hawke says different things in party banter than sarcastic hawke?

I'm enjoying Hawke's OOOOH, BABY when Anders talks about the things inside him. OH HAWKE. You are so inappropriate at all times. XD
(I'm assuming Lady Hawke doesn't get that line, lol. I didn't, anyway... though I didn't get the 'you should find someone else, love' line, either. Pfft, as if, Anders.)
Also, Carver perving up the Chant of Light = win.

I like how the writers have made that like, an iconic Dragon Age line and incorporated it again. So win.
Does anything else big/interesting happen with Anders in the DLC besides the whole "going Justice nuts hearing the call and attacking Hawke" ? Just wondering.

Seb: :pinched:Don't do that to the Chant!
My Anders-romancing Hawke missed that banter. Do the banters trigger at specific spots or is it random? Can you just run back and forth like with the Orzammar bridge?

Edit: Wow there's a lot of this banter that I didn't hear, even with companions I had with me.

And by the way, I think Aveline takes care of trolling Anders in Oghren's honor this time around.

That is why Hawke is the best. Hawke is an irreverent weirdo who is living in his/her own bizarre world at all times.

but really that's got to be the attitude you adopt with anderps. "yes, tortured, i know, i'm going to go down on you now"

i'd wager he's always capable of it, he just chooses not to, same principle as blood magic. if he's fully possessed by a demon darkspawn bloodmage magister... thing... though, it's not a surprise that he'd summon the most readily-available backupEvilnor wrote...
Anyone have any theories as to why berserk Anders summons shades? That seemed a little out of character to me right then and there, but at least he puts up more of a fight than if you fight him at the Gallows.
i was rogueing it on nightmare and he kept knocking me on my ass arishok-style, had to actually switch it down to hard, who saw that coming

Depends on how you look at the Anders Justice thing. But on a basic level, Cory was calling out to Anders and it is possible Justice assumed control to fight off what was 'attacking them' and in a moment of panic summoned out, being as he(Anders) couldn't see where this was coming from. I doubt Justice heard the Darkspawn in Kristoff or hears them in Anders.
So it was a defense ploy, if you ask me.

Huh. The idea that Justice can summon Fade spirits at any time (demons being the most ready to answer, of course) is intriguing to me. This of course brings up the question of why he seems incapable of it at any other time, especially considering the thin veil of Kirkwall proper.
As for the fight at the Gallows, yes, I was much disappointed with how lol2shot it was, but I wrote it off that Anders wanted to die at that point, and Hawke was basically performing assisted suicide whether he liked it or not.

I think it probably also extends to different situations like..Anders even says to Hawke that he has "no control around her" almost as if he cares so much he doesn't know how to deal with it because he is battling himself (and Justice) earlier in the game to pretty much not get involved with Hawke since he thinks he'll just hurt her. That, and, the whole "drown in blood" thing - like if he felt Hawke was threatened he would be extremely upset and lose control out of desire to keep Hawke safe.
So I do view Justice as pretty much an emotional/mental and physical defense mechanism. But it's like he almost doesn't know what's going on at times, such as him attacking Hawke, and can only sense the emotion and the fact that Anders is being threatened so he goes a little nuts lol.

Ahh, see...I don't see it that way at all. You were his friend, possibly his lover, and you decide to turn against him and everything he stands for. He's not the same person he is as a rivaled Anders. I think he would have fought extremely harder, in fact JUSTICE would have fought so much harder. I know he accepted death before since he had accepted it the moment he decided to plant the bomb in the Chantry.. but Hawke left him alive and he could have just left but he didn't. I know he was ready to die in order to give Justice to the people he had killed, but I think Justice would have also looked upon siding with the Templars as a betrayal and an injustice. He came back in order to fight for what he believed in, so I just don't see why he would give up so easily.

I don't know. Anders or Justice summoning demons doesn't seem likely at all.
And why attack us? Friends or Li it happens.
I wanted to yell at Justice put those shades away right now or its mac n cheese for 6 months for you both!

he's literally possessed by a tevinter magister. magisters have little issue summoning shades, as we see a billion times throughout da2.FieryDove wrote...

if you doubt the possession, anders says later on click, "i fear what that emissary can make me do." he's possessed, and the thing possessing him made him summon shades and fight his boyfriend/girlfriend. pretty simple.
