varric's dialogue will supersede some of anders' dialogue, but he's also very important to the dlc and you'll get a super cute romance banter. sibling will also supersede one romance moment, but the sibling banter is well-done so you shouldn't miss it. also, your sibling interaction is different depending on whether you're in act 1 or 3, and which path they went on. templar carver is my favorite sibling path to take in legacy, because he's such a little **** and his banters with isabela and anders are hilarious.
act 3 absolutely nets you the best dialogue. i'd recommend an act 3 run with sibling, varric, anders, and then another act 3 run with anders and whoever else you like excluding varric and sibling. there's a TON of party banter and it's all wonderful.
edit: and if your sibling is dead you get to hear gamlen talk about watermelons and testicles and that's always a plus in my book

Personally i don't see any real problem with this sequence -- Anders is being the usual ass, Carver is being ass in response.I've acted this way in response to the implication that Carver becoming a templar was somehow grave offense to the memory of the Father, and one you'd want to kill him for. To put it differently, the idea of wanting to kill a guy because he become someone he got named after struck me as acting hollier than the pope, so to speak -- if Malcolm Hawke felt similarly about the thought of his child becoming associated with the templars, he wouldn't have named said child after one, imo.I didn't say there weren't any others. It wasn't putting in the ratio of who are fair templars, it was simply a response to you because you acted like it was such a far-fetched idea that Malcolm "had a chip on his shoulder" (which I never even put in my post to begin with) concerning Templars based on us only knowing about him liking 1 of them.

I'm curious if Anders says different things depending on whether or not you actually uploaded a save from Awakenings...like if he mentions the warden more specifically or if it's basically the same..just different depending on choices. In mine he just said something about the amaranthine warden and him telling her not to deal with darkspawn, something to that effect I know he was referring to the architect. He only said that when I clicked on him though.
