So...her saying "Be careful, Mage, your friendship with the Champion protects you only so much." Isn't mentioning him or acknowledging his existence?
Well, again, when does that happen? She didn't say anything to Anders in my game when she was blackmailing my Hawke into doing the errand for her. If that takes place at some different point, i don't remember it.
Is Carver such a delicate flower that he can't help but resort to "WAH! You're a Mage! I'll turn you in!" I mean, come on. This point is just stupid to talk about, because they both could have handled it differently.
We only talk about it because you've made a fuss over how Carver threatens Anders and how that shows what a meanie Carver is

Personally i don't see any real problem with this sequence -- Anders is being the usual ass, Carver is being ass in response.
I didn't say there weren't any others. It wasn't putting in the ratio of who are fair templars, it was simply a response to you because you acted like it was such a far-fetched idea that Malcolm "had a chip on his shoulder" (which I never even put in my post to begin with) concerning Templars based on us only knowing about him liking 1 of them.
I've acted this way in response to the implication that Carver becoming a templar was somehow grave offense to the memory of the Father, and one you'd want to kill him for. To put it differently, the idea of wanting to kill a guy because he become someone
he got named after struck me as acting hollier than the pope, so to speak -- if Malcolm Hawke felt similarly about the thought of his child becoming associated with the templars, he wouldn't have named said child after one, imo.
