All I need to do to replicate feeling that is to play FFXIII and listen to any amount of Vanille dialogue.

I will never accept her being anywhere near Anders for any reason.

Exemple: Here. (Riding an aircraft with Hope) or Here. (Fang and Vanille reunion.)

So do we all agree that late act 3 is the best time to play Legacy? That's when I played it (pre-Last Straw), but I also have a post game save, as well as a character that is currently in mid-act 1. Are the only real "differences" you could have, save changing out companions, be romance status/sibling/mother status? Just curious whether I should check it out in Act 1 or just wait until Act 2 or even 3 to get the most bang for my buck.

yeah I'd be interested too, but on our first re-run through Hawke will be female and not romancing Anders.

However, for the final nostalgic run through I want to get the Legacy placing bang on -I'll still run off with him whatever his freakishness does from inside him.

Hmm this is exactly what i did, and like i mentioned Anders did try to make a scene over it, and Meredith completely ignored him in my game. At least that's how the initial meeting went, i can't remember if i brought Anders for the aftermatch as well.

Ahh, right that seems to play when you turn in the quest. Guess i didn't bring Anders for that part.

Watching it i'm not getting impression Meredith is aware Anders is anything more than 'just' an apostate, though. I mean sure, plot armour et al, but they'd need to bend over backward to justify her knowingly ignoring that.

Alright, cool. I wasn't sure if it was any different than ghost mommy, since you...technically talk her. I feel like Act 1 might not be worth it. Has anyone even played it during that?

And...thank you for the Gamlen clip. Mostly because of Meredanders but, Gamlen is cool too. I don't have any saves where my siblings are dead yet.

I regret trying it in act 1. I had no extra BP space and the *junk* filled my pockets up fast. And we were kinda...not so great, not having many talents and all. lol

I've only tried it during Act 3 so far. I really enjoyed the dialogue that I got, and I was fine just talking with ghost mom instead of real mom. The only reason I might switch to Act 2 for my canon run is so that some of Anders' lighter moments won't seem quite as out of place.

Also, as FieryDove mentioned, it's nice to have space for all the stuff you find. So if you play later in the game, you can pick up as much junk as you want without thinking about it. And it is definitely nice to have as many talents as possible at your disposal.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks for the info. I suppose having Bethany and being pre-Leandra death, and taking different companions, will change it up enough (I have both a CircleBeth and WardenBeth. Just need TemplarCarv!). I still think it'll be best to go post-romance, though, just for the banters/dialogue that acknowledge it. And I suppose one day I should romance anyone other than Anders but...well, I'm sure that day will come. Maybe.

As for Legacy, Personally I'm a fan of both the midway act 2 (mom + sibling ending, + romance dialog!) or the very early act three play through. That way you still get some use out of the items before replacing them with the full champions set ;p
