Forgive my momentarily bout of pure insanity but...

While commenting on this wonderful drawing this morning, nakuichia.deviantart.com/#/d421gmf , I was brought back to the scene of one of my favorite movies, Labyrinth (Yes, bear with me, this whole story has a point)...

And now, I can't help but imagine Justice confronting Anders in the Fade (if such thing was possible) and singing this song to him: www.youtube.com/watch . 

This goes with some crazy headcanon of mine where Justice had fallen in love (if spirits can love) with Anders before their joining.    And now, he's jealous of his relationship with Hawke, while also being frustrated that Anders keeps resisting him in the mortal world (disapproving of Justice's actions when he takes control, etc.)  Hehe...

Must read. From what I've seen of Correm, he sounds like such a fun Hawke. I always feel hideously guilty for not reading more of other peoples' fanfics. I want to. <insert trite whine about poor time management skills>

LOL. I always could see Justice and Anders singing this back and forth to one another- click here to listen.  It seems to fit them, and sounds like an argument I can see them having often.  I really thought about making it canon when I saw a picture of Anders looking into a mirror and he saw Justice looking back.

I just finished DA2, I bought it, pre ordered for the signature edition and everything and put the game down around act 3 and it's been sitting there forever, unfinished. (Couldn't beat that stupid high dragon with my mage and I remember getting frustrated and putting it down) So I had time and decided to start fresh and try again.

Man I just hated Anders in DA2 My first playthrough I tried to romance him first because I LOVED him in awakening. I almost wished Alistair wasn't so swoony so my grey warden could swipe Anders up in that one. So I was super excited he was in DA2 but I feel they ruined him. I started to hate him! I couldn't stand him. He was still in my party for heals but ugh I absolutely hate what they did with his character.He was sooooo loveable in awakening I'll just try to keep his memory as the ser pounce-a-lot lovable guy rather than the whiny blow things up guy.

I'm really not happy with what they did with his character. Don't do it again Bioware >:{

I hope they "ruin" more characters the way they "ruined" Anders, tbh.

Half the people in DA2 whine, or would blow things up given the chance. Anders and his mages, blowing up the Chantry.

Fenris and his I was a slave. He would blow **** up in Tevinter, you know he would.

Merrill and finding the past. She would blow something up if it met uncovering something about her people.

Carver wants to blow you up (I kid)

My Hawke wants to blow all of Kirkwall up and rebuild an improved Hanged Man for Varric.

It was just the under tone of the game, everyone was jaded by something it seems. But I love them for it.

Oh I forgot! Seb wants to blow both Anders and Kirkwall sky high and he wouldn't shut up about the maker.

It's not exactly a shocker: he was a creep in Awakening (never going to get over "Oh, don't get me wrong, Biff made the funniest little gurgle when he died" and "and now they're dead") as well.

No character from DA:O was in DA2. Really. No character from the beginning of DA:O was in the later parts of DA:O. Every moment we die to be reborn as something new. The idea of self and consistant identity is an illusion.

To be fair, deflection via humor is such a rarely used trope that we can't expect people to realize it when it starts beating them senseless and teabagging them with its obviousness.  Characters should always be taken at face value, after all.
