Also...isn't Anders' Martyr skill basically Blood Magic 101? Trading lifeforce to power spells?
It's Blood Magic for greater justice!completely okay.
Remember Justice can justify anything...after all he is a spirit of justice;)

Depends on what exactly it is that he is 'trading' (the description says it's "health") I mean, mana is also sort of a "lifeforce" but it doesn't make anyone treat regular magic as blood magic 101.
edit: meh, Alicorn totally pulls that off better
All his stuff mimics blood magic and does take from his health and others, he can't even be healed while that stuff is active! It's blood magic even if it isn't called such. Just like like the top half of his tree is spirit healer.
Merill is blood magic and Keeper it looks like to me.

Seriously. But give Justice like a month I am sure he will think of something or go all vengeance and destroy it...

I think this is Justice's lifeforce and not Anders' blood. I haven't seen Martyr, but unless he cuts himself to use it, it can't be ordinary blood magic.

That would make sense; similar to how Wynne's spirit supposedly uses its own lifeforce to keep her going.Queen-Of-Stuff wrote...

Do you really think Adam Howden has a West Country accent? I'm American, so I sometimes have trouble differentiating between the various southern dialects. All I remember from my travels, though, is this really, really gorgeous ginger who convinced me to try some farm-stand cider and waking up the next morning wishing I was dead. But to this day, a West Country accent holds a special place in my heart, if only because of that ginger who bade me lay caution to the winds and live a little. I may never forgive him. And I'm not sure I want to.ademska wrote...
i love killing him, primarily because i can't deal with the same va'd characters so close to each other. especially when the only difference is a more pronounced west country accent.

It wasn't "turning on your Hawke". It was "turning on everything that's around" - it was a defense mechanism. Justice didn't understood what was going on, someone/something was trying to take their mind so he got scared, and lashed out at anyone who was nearby. Hawke just happened to be this lucky fellow. Besides, I don't understand why you guys expect Anders, to be something diffrent then uh, Anders - and Deep Roads are really a place to bring his cheery side out. You know: memories, taint, death, being trapped, some crazy voices in his head...
I don't know. Dragging Anders into the deep roads seemed like a good idea rather than leave him in a templar infested city. That's tempting fate and Justice too much one would think.
I don't understand why we couldn't talk Justice down if it was Justice. If it was Cory well at that point it would explain shades/other spells Anders did not have being used.
Does anyone have a youtube video of Anders stabbing himself with staff people have said happened using BM? It didn't happen in my games, I went back and replayed it. He slams the ground with his staff and shades appear. Or maybe I was really tired and it was really late everytime I got to that part.

If i'm not mistaken Elthina is not a companion in DA2, and you get to exchange maybe a dozen lines with her. She certainly doesn't provide view on your companions and many things both trivial and not in a way the party banter does.
And it's not like Sebastian is the only companion with the blinders on, so that's hardly a strike against him... they all have their own blinders of different flavours.
Sebastian - Elthina would never allow this. Elthina would not support this. Elthina will stop this.
Elthina - I will sit here year after year and do nothing to keep *peace*.
No she isn't a companion. Thank heavens. I like Seb just not the way it/he worked out. We didn't need anything else to make the chantry look ridiculous. imho (I should try to rival him, maybe he is much different).

i'm american too, and even though i've got uk ties take anything i say with a grain of salt. adam howden's anders voice (which i assume is probs closest to his regular voice) isn't particularly west country, but the brekker accent was from what i remember of it. ellem would be a much better source for all things english.berelinde wrote...
