Er, what? I'm confused. Lining up three NPCs on a trap and pulling the lever is definitely silly, but I don't think it was meant as a gesture of hate. Leah C. doesn't seem to dislike Anders, for example. And to be fair, Anders (and Varric) got sliced, too. Carver was just the only one who wasn't knocked out by it, and his fortitude score was probably high enough to keep him in place instead of being knocked aside like Anders and Varric.

Yes, Anders' fortitude was so low he went flying immediately. Hence the 'Poor Anders' title.

I love all the characters, for what it's worth. Anders is just my favorite.

Anyway.

No offense was intended. I'm not sure how it wound up taken that way. I removed the video link, as I'd rather not offend people, even unintentionally. Sorry for the fuss. <3

LOL - i sort  through 4-chan for good  Wallpapers for my pc and phone..

still Anders in a  cheerleader outfit  shocking the first time you see it. 

Nothing can prepare a man for anders in a cheerleader skirt or a tutu

its like seeing my friend  Beast  in drag..

Oh I keep him alive and my Hawke reserves the right to kick his ass in brotherly/best friend manner. Really no matter upset my Hawke was he was not going sell his friend out that would have made him less than Trash.

I can only kill Anders on rivalry playthrough. To get him to side with the Templars is just to sad! If I am going to side with the Templars (omg what is wrong with me right!?. yeah yeah) I just murder knife him. Especially if rivaled. I don't like to side with the Templars if I friend him because I hate having to kill him when he comes back.

That is the only time I feel his murder knife is more a mercy than anything. I mean how messed up is it to murder knife him and then side with the mages? Basically saying "yeah you need to die for your crimes, but don't worry I'll support your dream and carry on the plan without you!"

I actually only kept Seb on one playthrough, LOL. I may be one of the few out there who actually liked Seb though, but his hissy fit walking out at the end is so irresistible. That, and I can't bring myself to murder Anders for no good reason other than Seb tells me to.

My Hawkes go from disbelief, to anger, to WTF, but my main and personal reaction is pretty much summed up in my signature -- "GODDAMNIT ANDERS!"

Correct me if I'm wrong (because I haven't tried this firsthand), but doesn't rivalmancing Anders and then siding with the Templars at the end result in his death anyway (just offscreen)? I saw someone quote some ending dialogue for this particular situation, and it really sounded like Anders was saying goodbye.

On a different note, I'm not quite sure how I feel about the recent announcement that DA3 is going to have a different main character yet again. BW said that it doesn't mean past companions can't make a reappearance (like the DA2 cameos, I guess)...but I'm not sure a cameo is quite gonna cut it in Anders' case...

Also, considering how bugged the DA2 cameos were...and still are.
