Yeah I probably assume it would vary based on Rival/Friend. But maybe rivaled Justice just kind of...resigns to it. Well they did talk about first it sounds like. Anders walks in and is all "Well, um...Justice does not approve." like it's his father figure being disapproving hahaha. "He um, thinks you're a distraction...he wants me to focus on the cause BUT I'M REBELLING HAH! LET'S DO IT!"

Okay, it's not...exactly like that obviously...I'm just kidding.

But I do assume they've talked about Hawke - I think it'd be kind of impossible for Justice to not notice how infatuated Anders is with Hawke.

Sexuality is... an important matter to people, to say the least. But Justice is a spirit - maybe he doesn't make any special distinction between sex and any other activity Anders engages in, and is merely annoyed that he's wasting time doing something else than fighting for The Cause™.

That was kind of my take on it.

Justice has become part of Anders's conscious and sub-conscious mind. Id, ego, superego, he's in there. About the best explanation I can make for Justice during sex is that Anders probably has this vague feeling that he should be doing something else, that indulging in sexyfuntimes with Hawke is not doing anything to advance his cause. But it feeeels so gooooooooooood...

Ahem.

So yeah, Justice puts in a vote for "no," but Anders has the power to override the veto.

Aw, I like Torpor. He is funny. Unfortunately for him I need Anders since I use that quest to farm rivalry/friendship and thus I end up betrayed by anyone else so I rarely doesn't even bother pretending I am siding with Torpor.

I always took it to mean that Justice doesn't approve of Anders thinking about Hawke, not that he necessarily disapproves of Hawke (nitpicky distinction I know).

Justice probably thinks pretty highly of a pro-mage friend Hawke, and approves of him/her as a person, and his/her pro-mage actions, but at the same time views time spent thinking about Hawke as time wasted. And considering Anders describes his feelings for Hawke as an "obsession," and spending 3 years worth of nights "aching for you," I would imagine that adds up to a lot of wasted time.

So in summary: (Friendmancing) Hawke as an individual - Justice approves, (Friendmancing) Hawke being in Anders head - Justice disapproves.

Yeah..that is the #1 thing that bothered me about DA2 is how much little interaction we got with companions. And when we did it was all about what Hawke could "help" them with (aka companion quests lol) Oh well. It kind of makes me sad Hawke won't be the protagonist in DA3 even though I doubted they would given all the ridiculous Hawke Hate on these forums...I just really hope the Templar/Mage war is like...actually seen through. I also really would not mind an expansion for Hawke to sort of close up their story (but I kind of doubt an expansion will happen given how, again, the DA2 hate is so rampant on these forums) So the odds of seeing Anders again are quite tiny

I have the tendency to see a friendmanced Anders as friendmancing Justice as well.... in a tsundere kind of way, I suppose. So much so, that I had to write a fic about it, just to get all my wild thought bits out of my head.

Justice might have disapproved because Hawke wasn't just distracting to Anders - but to Justice as well. 'Cause let's be honest: the spirit's already been warped and changed with having to deal with these scary things called emotions. The idea of a Relationship, and all that comes with it, desires and wants, would have been terrifying.

And yet, in Awakenings, Justice was obsessed with the concepts of beauty and love. Expressed jealously, even. He was highly curious.

Justice might have disapproved, but he never said 'no.'

I'm under the impression that there is an expansion in the works, but it's all rumor at this point. I've also heard that the next DLC will be Sebastian-centric. Idk what is true and what isn't at this point. But there is at least more DLC coming.

No, I know. I see it sort of both ways. I don't think he like hates Hawke or anything but when Anders says that my Hawke is probably all "Wah?? What did I do?!" But haha....yes...I am sure Justice is just like *sigh* every single night while Anders is being super restless. I just think he has a hard time realizing that Anders needs a break, and he is allowed to think about other things than the mage cause. I'm sure he warms up to the idea after a while when he sees that being with Hawke doesn't really jeopardize their cause, since he might be scared of that too in the same way Anders was scared of it - involving Hawke in his life which is not really exactly easy.

I dislike we don't see these sorts of things in DA2. It makes it seem like Justice is just a single-minded psychopath or something. I didn't play Awakening so I don't know Justice very well =/ Mostly just cutscenes and stuff I've watched.

Justice in the Fade during Night Terrors is a lot like he as in Awakenings. Wasn't RAWR Vengenace Mode. Pretty chill all things considered, but definately focused on his Purpose. He clings to his purpose as if this is the only thing that can keep him from becoming demonic. But really, if anything Justice was becoming more like a human.

Taking Anders into the Fade for that quest, and getting to see Justice almost (but not quite the same, after all, both he and Anders have changed) like how he was gave me the idea for Justice admiring/growing to respect/perhaps even eventually in love with Hawke.

Hmm. My Hawke, who was quite sympathetic to Justice from the get-go, would probably ask if there's anything she could do to help Justice. She'd want to talk to him, befriend him, in a place where he's obviously more at ease and less likely to get sweeped up by violent emotions, and reassurance him that him changing doesn't necessarily mean he's becoming a demon.

I have several Hawkes that are Mage friendly , Templar friendly and neutral. And I suppose each would have something different to say to him. But yeah that is good.

Yeah I also am not sure about the demon thing.
