Actually my Anders-Hawke looks a bit like Sarah .

Give buffy red hair and pointy ears and its Asyla and Zevran in that Gif

Considering how much the early phase of Anders's romance resembles the early Buffy-Spike relationship (I'm thinking of the stalker episodes before "Once More, with Feeling"), having a Hawke that looks like Sarah would be strangely appropriate.

I am sure everyone knew I was doomed when I said I preferred Spike over Angel. Angel was ok, but he wasn't insane enough for me to really fixate on.

Anders similar to Spike?... I can sort of see that, but I really think that they had two different kinds of styles of obsession. Between the two, I definitely think Spike had the more intense issues. The rivaled Andersmance certainly has some more similarities though.

Don't go out there it's scary.... It's even getting into private groups now. I've lost friends over this.

For the record, it's mostly going on privately actually. But in the last few days it is worse. I generally don't venture out of character gush threads either.

Lol, I don't even understand how people would like...break friendships over that. I mean, maybe I could if it's two extremely opposing viewpoints...like case of Chantry VS. Mage Freedom. Yeah...I suppose since a lot of that, like the reasoning of why you disagree, probably has somewhat to do with an individuals core belief system (despite the fact that it is fiction) it might just be too different..I guess.

And yes buffy is a tv show, it's very good. In fact I think I read on the wiki that Gaider had inspiration for Alistair/Zevran from characters written by Joss Whedon (who did Buffy/Angel) Spike was Zevran, and Alistair was a mix of Xander/ Malcolm Reynolds...I prefer the Malcolm part more so in my head I believe he's more like that hardened. Xander is too goofy sometimes, and not in an adorable way...in a stupid way.

As far as I'm concerned, Anders as my favorite (and likely only, since I'm not really planning on multiple DA2 playthroughs) love interest/romance partner in DA2 is pretty much ironclad, and there really is little anyone else can say or do to convince me otherwise.

I mean, he loves cats (and cats love him, which is all the endorsement I ever need), appreciates the erotic uses of electrocution, has hawt 5'oclock shadow, is borderline schitzo, cooks up explosives in his spare time, and uses them to nuke churches.

I admit that while I found him slightl annying at first in awakening he ensured my eternal friendship the moment he showed to be a cat person.

Just let's start telling everyone that as our reasoning for loving Anders...that should just flat out stop the LI war because then they will realize we are so far beyond redemption it's not even funny. Well some people *cough* think that they can justify hating on Anders because people hate on their preferred LI. It's very silly, and while the LI wars aren't happening out in the open, it's happening a lot amongst friends.
