I doubt that Hawke will abandon him.  After all, the only LI not confirmed to be with the Warden or Hawke is Leliana.

Well, most of my stuff in override I've done myself, I actually enjoy modding almost as much as playing XD

I wouldn't be as sad about Anders as a crazy old hermit, although that's not very appealing.

I just dread the thought of having him be an enemy of the new player character, if he's alive in DA3. And given the way Hawke and the Warden disappear, if we see him again, it's implied that we didn't bring him with us. I'm hoping they just leave his fate ambiguous.

I HATE ANDERS hes just so i dunno an idiot he feels so sorry for himself oh i let a spirit into myself feel sorry for me no anders drop dead then he goes completely insane and blows up the whole damn chantry WTF is that about so my hawke slit his neck ahhh been waiting to do that for a while and if i remember rightly anders was a bit of a player with the women and definitely wasnt gay in awakening not that im peeved of he is in DA2 im just a bit annoyed that they changed the whole personality of anders kind of ruined him for me.

Honestly, I think that would be awesome. At least if the choice of beign anti-mage is available.

Totally agree. Thanks to you're awesomeness, you have even confounded Bioware's lack of a toolset release for this game in avrious ways.

Given how my canon left the high dragon alone even though she did not defile the ashes, Haven is just ripe and waiting for Anders, now that Kolgrim's position has become vacant.

I came into DA2 most excited about seeing Anders again, and it didn't even occur to me that there would not be a way to "save" him from Justice-turned-Vengeance.  I mean, it's a game, that means we have choices and can affect the story, right?  So, by the time Act 3 rolled around, I was gutted.  Hawke didn't even try to help Anders.  

So even if I'm playing anti-mage in DA3, I'll be sad if I'm confronted with Angry Vengeance Anders as an enemy.  It will just be a reminder of how powerless I felt in DA2.

I agree with this. Whether friendshiping or rivalling, Hawke does a pretty ****** poor job when it comes to Anders (and everything else but I digress), imo.

I would have preferred if Anders is beyond saving, that's what I like about him. But I certainly wish that Hawke had a better attempt at helping him, specifically trying to communicate with Justice. Even if it failed, I believe it woul have shed more light on Anders and Justice.
