I know, which is why I say The Pearl>>>>Blooming rose.
But for me, romances aren't that important, and I'd probably be happier with a brief, but ill fated love affair than a long drawn out one that makes little sense, or holds little interest. Romances might be an aspect of a character I am playing, but are not that critical in a good story, or for an interesting character. If they couldn't make them unique or interesting, I'd prefer they left them out.
And stuck with inexpensive, meaningless encounters in your nearest house of Vice.
