Nah, I'm sure even a friended Anders can appreciate that, while it's a good thing to be able to start a revolution, making it succeed is even better.

And you need a lot of planning, discretion, patience, and the ability to compromise for that. As well as being, y'know, alive.

All things that Vengeance apparently has a VERY hard time understanding.

So not a spoiler at all (we're waiting until tomorrow or at least tonight, correct?) but I was playing Mark of the Assassin and had Anders along. I finally, for the first time ever, got Anders' cry after Hawke falls. I think it was glitched before on the xbox or something? Anyway, it made me :3

Of course, everyone else promptly decided to die after that, but it was worth the reload.

Before the 1.03 patch I was getting the Anders cry when Hawke died, now after that patch, I only get Varric and Aveline.

And FYI thread people, this playthrough I have an Ander rivalmance going (100%, all quests completed), had to get blackmailed into helping him with the chantry after finding out he was lying about the potion, and I'm planning on siding with the Templars....(going with the whole I'm pissed at all mages atm reasoning, petty, but this character is being mean to everyone).....what happens at the end when you chose the Templars? Can you get him to side with you...or does he go to the mages and then you have to kill him?

And what's this about him killing himself?

Yes, (at least I hope he did) now all he says when you click on him is something about "maybe youre right, maybe there is a way to change the circle from within."

Yeah as long as you use the star option after The Last Straw, he'll side with you. Be prepared for sad.

I think I only managed to semi-hear it once, while in the process of switching to Anders for a Regroup. Does he say something like "no! don't you die on me"?

The only death cries I've been able to properly make out were "I think Varric's down" (from Anders) and "Aveline!" (from Hawke). Anything else usually gets lost in the bustle of trying to raise the dead person in question.

I can also barely hear any of what Fenris mumbles during fights, but that's a different issue.

I have never heard that.  Not in game at least.  But then, my Hawke's usually the last woman standing.  I've heard her cry for Anders.

Yeah that one is awesome. I like that diplomatic line, but snarky Hawke's line is great too. :3

Yep, he does. I was running Hawke and Anders around during Aveline's Donnic quest so I could hear it. It took me forever to figure it out though-I spent about twenty minutes killing off Hawke, with her selected, and wondered why Anders wouldn't say anything.
