There was one in the hunting grounds, one in the chest, one in the dungeon, one in the retreat, and the cache outside. They are marked on your map as little arrows.

Only the one in the hunting ground was marked for me <_< curious. All of Carver's stuff was marked though.

I have never heard that.  Not in game at least.  But then, my Hawke's usually the last woman standing.  I've heard her cry for Anders.

I got that line once, in my first playthrough. Haven't since. It was on Xbox though, so not sure if it's bugged, just...rare? Which is weird, because Anders says melodramatic lovey stuff all of the time. No need to get shy when I die!

Seriously. The man talks about drowning people in blood just to keep you safe while he's still actively trying to resist you. Surely, getting upset because you actually do die should be small potatoes by comparison?

I say feel free to, but since I only had time to play half of it yesterday, I think I'll be leaving the thread now until tomorrow (esp. since even that sentence above seems spoilery to me. Rescue!?)

Definitely stay away, because there will be some nice anti-depressing surprise for you tomorrow.

I knew the "thought" would be the new title of this thread.

Fortunately, today is holiday here and I've been able to play the MotA quest. Since I don't know if there are any changes for friend-romanced Anders after it in Act 3, I'll try to just keep out of spoiler reading, so feel free to spoil everything.  Ahh, I wish all the Dragon Age II DLC quests were like this one... (and, of course all the DLC characters were like Tallis... )

@Naqey: Till December? Ugh. That sounds to me like the time when I played the Sims and it took a month or more for expansions to be released in Spain. Annoying.

Alrighty then. Let's maybe start with something fairly innocuous. Who did everyone bring along with them?

I brought Anders and Fenris. Anders because, well, Anders. Fenris for a few reasons. For one, that's my usual team with Adel (except, switch Varric with Tallis). For another, I thought maybe he'd have something interesting to say about Qunari. Most importantly, though, I figured he might have the funniest dialogue when paired with Anders.

There were a few gems with those two, but my favorite bit was the prison break scene. They were so perfectly hopeless together. Here's a link to a video I found that has all of the various banter possibilities for that scene.

I have gone through 3 times, all 3 I had Anders. I took circle Bethany, Isabela and Aveline. Isabela and Anders so far are my favorite.

Thanks for that link, Yami! Brilliant stuff, better than the Fort Drakon break-in. Just wish that Hawke got the punchline at the end, not the T-person.

I have a box of tissues ready....time to finalize a rival-manced Anders siding with the Templars playthrough.....


Ya know, this was bothering me about my first play through.....I had friend-manced Anders, was sympathetic to the mage plight, but also flirted with Sebastian when I had the chance just to fluster the chantry boy....and then I killed Anders....akt goodbye scene in the Tower, Sebastain says something along the lines of "well you are a remarable woman Hawke....if we had met under different circumstances...maybe then...well let's not distract ourselves". Was that supposed to be a flirt line from Sebastian...cause I was like....WTH? I just murder knifed the guy I've been with for 6 years and his body isn't even cold yet and you're FLIRTING with me? boy did I want to stick a knife in Seb's eye at that point.

This scene is awesome. More than DA:O Fort Drakon escape which was awesome enough, specially because of Morrigan in her chanry-sister robes. By the way, Fenris & Bethany definitely WIN.

@Jaulen: You're brave. I didn't have the huevos. Fortunately we have the Youtube oracle for answers. As for Sebastian in Last Straw... If only I had been in the mood for laugh after the "coming back with a whole army to get my precious Anders", I would have pictured Hawke mocking a chicken and going "kok-kok-kok-koook!" at him... Ok, ok, I'll shut up.
