Is it just me... I find it so annoying that Anders is the only one whose door doesn't just take you to the map. Boo!

Yeah, I hate that. (Partially because I visit him the most in Act 2. Even when I don't actually have a quest to do so.)

I found myself doing that a lot too, but I think it had to do more with one of the major game faults than Anders. I always wanted to talk to my companions more so I would constantly check all of them after bigger plot points and hope they would have something to say.  :( Althought I will admit that I did this with Anders the most.

Aw, no way.  He obviously got the idea from Varric's "Hard in Hightown: Siege Harder", during an episode where Donnen Brennicovick had to flee from a massive explosion that destroyed the Viscount's Keep by body-surfing on a qunari.

I think you got a different copy of the book, because mine is just porn.

Not that I'm complaining. But the only explosions I got were of a far more, er, sticky nature.

Ewww.

I wonder if Isabela and Varric have written any "friend-fiction" about Hawke and Anders, like Isabela did for Aveline and Donnic?  I would pay so much for a DLC that simply added that banter.

Isabela: I've written more.
Varric: Yes!  ::reads:: "Justice is righteous... Justice is hard", the mage moaned as he pressed himself against Hawke's lithe form--
Anders: Andraste's great flaming ass!  What the HELL are you two talking about?
Isabela: Nothing!
Varric: Just a little friend-fiction.  There's a really good bit about your staff of vengeance later on.
Anders: I am both horrified and intrigued.

Good GOD my friend!! Please tell me you write, because this... THIS has made my day and I would LOVE to see more! LOL xDD

Well. That's now part of my personal canon.

I'm a poor student, but Bioware, if you want to know how to squeeze out more money, do this. Do this so hard.

First off, I'd like to say this thread has made me laugh out loud WAY more than any other thread I've been reading. :P
Second of all, I'm having a HUGE problem rivalmancing Anders in a male rogue playthrough. Like...SERIOUSLY. I try to be mean but as I look at the red option, I'm thinking, "Gee...that's just so...mean." It's hard to be cruel to poor tortured Anders. :(

So a lot of us like to imagine Hawke proof-reading the manifesto, huh? That's what I thought of when I clicked on Hawke's bed and it said part of the manifesto was there. Even though my Kane Amell wouldn't get involved in fighting for a cause, I could see him being frustrated with trying to correct Anders' insane ramblings and just rewrite the whole thing on his own. Then he would claim that he did his part for the revolution and they should let him watch the rest unfold from the safety of his mansion's roof.

...And now, because of you guys, I'm going to imagine them reading Varric's novels too. xD The horrified looks on their faces. Well, Kaya would probably just blush bright red at the Anders/Justice fanfic. Kane would throw it across the room screaming, "What has been seen can not be unseen!"

Humor is a great coping mechanism.  For a little while anyway.   Just ask Anders.

Yeeeah. It's everywhere. It's the big work in Hawke's man's life. Of course they're going to be reading it.

Mind you, my Hawke would mock the hell out of it. But Anders would come home to find notes in the margins, certain parts underlined, certain parts crossed out. He'd never mention that one, either. If he did, he might start getting sappy and, Andraste's Holy ******, that can't be allowed.

You don't need to be directly mean to him. I got enough rivalry points by agreeing with a couple of templars and sparing the lives of blood mages. If you follow Marethari's suggestion of making Feynriel tranquil, he'll be offended enough to give you 15 (?) rivalry points. Speaking from experience, it's worth to try the rivalmance at least once.

BAHAHAHA!  I can totally see Isabela and Varric doing that to my poor Hawke and Anders.  I think Natale would just snicker and shake her head at them before walking off.  Poor Anders would probably be more flustered.

Also, when does Isabela write friend-fiction for Aveline and Donnic?  This banter I must see.

LOL, thank you!  I don't really write; I just have a couple of Mass Effect crack fics.  I'd love to write something, but I have trouble coming up with plots.  Scenes, no problem.  Plots, bleeehhhhhggghgh.

Justice would be flustered. Pre-Justice Anders would probably be, "All that, and we weren't even into the house yet. *smirk*"

To be honest. I wish there was a sandwich response to all of the LI love scenes.

Merrill: "I love you... Oh dear, I shouldn't have said that. I say a lot of things.. I'm rambling again."
Hawke: "A Sandwich will cure that."

Fenris: "This is too fast. I cannot do this. I'm sorry."
Hawke: "Would you rather have a sandwich then?"

Isabela: "You aren't putting... feelings into this? Are you?"
Hawke: "No. I was just wondering if you wanted to share a sandwich."

Isabela> And then she found why his nickname was "Sparklefingers." Read on.
Varric> Let me see... Ohohoho, that was good! Always wondered if mages did **** like that. Did you come up with that on your own?
Isabela> I actually saw that in person, it was impressive. *grin*
Varric> Not surprised...

That sandwich reply was great. And I love the amused look on Anders' face when he's responding to it.
On the flip side, I also love Hawke's facial expression when Anders is asking to move in....it's all like, "What...have I gotten myself into?" :P

Hawke raged after I heard that Isabela/Anders banter.  Not out of possessive jealousy, but just plain envy in general.  XD  I got that banter right after Anders pulled his "THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLER" thing and shot her down.

So for my poor sexually frustrated Hawke, it went like this:

Anders: Perhaps a year ago we could have had something, but I'm not that man any longer.  I'm sorry.
Hawke: Cold shower again tonight then...
Isabela: LOL Anders remember all those amazing sexy magic tricks you did while having an orgy at the brothel?
Anders: Ah yes, good times.
Hawke: D:

And I think Hawke's "PLEASE stop talking, now!" sounds so desperate.  XD

I loved Hawke's response, hahahahaha.  Poor Hawke indeed... I mean Anders was aching for her for 3 years, but I can just imagine how many cold showers she took!  Especially since Anders was there on EVERY single mission with his hot sexiness and stuff... Nothing like seeing a man in action blasting monsters away to make you horny!
