I don't see why Anders wouldn't support this.

A Hawke who chose to not romance him, but is still himself a mage and consistently supported mages throughout the game can still be a close friend with Anders. I'm sure that Anders would trust Hawke enough to support him as the right person to represent the mages of Kirkwall. I'd even say he would accompany Hawke. Nothing is closer to Anders' heart than the "independance movement" of the mages... Fiona's meeting is the best chance they got.

I'm not so sure about Bethany though. As has already been said, she's not the leader type.

Bethany Warden is a bit less passive but then she would be loyal to wardens and only go if allowed. Bethany mage is just a wet rag, although she does see Orcino going rogue blood mage out of despair so maybe she grows up a bit after the ending events in DA2.

Anders would definitely show up even uninvited. His bomb was after all, to show mages all over Thedas that the circles were a slow death. He would really want to see the circle mages and plead with them for full scale rebellion. I think he would want to lead it too, unless Hawke is a mage, in that case he likes Hawke's leadership enough to give him/ her the lead.

I agree. Anders started this war if he heard about the conclave he would be there. Everything he worked for is to be decided at this conclave, whether he succeded or not. Imo it is likely however that he would keep a low profile. Not sure everyone in the mage community is fond of him.

A different question. Am I the only one who feels cheated after you give Anders his present and he tells you that one day he hopes to give you one. I waited and waited and waited for some small token like in DA origins. I felt cheated!

^^ You are totally not the only one who felt cheated because Anders never gave Hawke a gift.

What would you have liked Anders to have given your Hawke? Any particular reason?

At that time he was trying to push Hawke away and thought he/she would hate him after the bomb. Someone who kills you isn't likely to keep any gifts from you <_<

Besides I think he just coudn't bring himself to look Hawke in  the eye and pretty much say goodbye, like he did with Varric. With Hawke, he tries to deflect and talk about how it isn't Hawke's fault... He feels guilty as hell and wants to die for his crime.

That right there is the most nasty fight in DAII. I swear that bastard has taken me down more times than any other... and I have killed Meredith, Orsino and the Arishok on insane without dying even once!

Isabela and Talis always gets caught in the blue circle of death and then the next moment Anders is mourning my Hawke... Did I mention that i HATE this guy?

I HATE him more, I have not been able to beat him in act 1 on insane. Act three with my canon hawke can just manage if I am really in the fighting mood, but act 1. I simply cannot beat that guy.,

In banter with Merrill, she offers Anders a kitten from a litter she found.  I think it would be sweet if Anders gave Hawke his adopted kitten for him/her to watch over after he's gone... *not that he would put it like that*

That would be really sweet.. And entertaining if Hawke has a mabari hound in the house

New chapter

Hawke starts having morning sickness and eating for two. Anders is still clueless though and Justice is not telling

Adding some personal experience  I have two kids and my first kid was a total surprise, my doctor had told me I couldn't have kids. I found out about being pregnant about 7-8 weeks into it. My family knew about what my doctor had said, so no one knew or expected  a pregnancy either. I got a lot of sermons about being always tired, eating too much or being queasy, or having food cravings. Looking back it was pretty obvious that i was pregnant but we were all clueless until I went to the doctor for a routine checkup.

Aww cute story  What I wonder sometimes though, is how can a woman not know she's pregnant??  I know in your case you were told you couldn't become pregnant, so you probably subconsciously disregarded the signs.  But when my period is even a day or so late, warning bells start going off in my head.

I know you can still spot-bleed while pregnant, but even that would throw me off.

It depends. I close friend of mine was told she couldn't have children and this condition qalso made her periodes iregular. Sometimes women can bleed a little even though they are pregnant. This could easily result in not noticing the pregnancy in its early stages.
