Just post the link to your picture, I'll fix it so it shows and you can later see what I did when you "quote" the post

I hope...not. Because I hardly believe it can be handled any better than Alistair-married-king. I'd prefer all of their "everafter" out of game canon. Few neutral mentionings - probably. Varric could've known more of them, but he's a really good storyteller, he knew what to skip and where to stop. I don't want this legend to become a subject of fancervice. Even though part of me wishes to know some more.it would be awesome to see Anders again in DA3 for instance!
Also - timeline. He's still a Warden, after all. Justice does not cancel taint (and yeah - I've seen notes on his wiki page).

But I do agree with you. I am content with the "happily ever after" ending that exists in my imagination. I don't need to bump into Hawke and Anders in-game to know that they're doing what they love/what they think is right. I understand the need others feel for closure, and if Anders appears in some kind of significant, mage-related quest, I won't complain, but if Anders is there, Hawke had better be, too.

Or there'd better be a plausible explanation as to why Hawke isn't!berelinde wrote...
Not sure what effect Justice has on the taint. I don't have the post bookmarked, but I seem to remember David Gaider saying that Justice might delay or even eliminate Anders's Calling.

Quote another post that has an image. Turn off the BBCode. Go to the image url line and put in your image url in place of the one quoted and there you have it!
And because we can't have enough Anders, I'm posting one of my favorite screenies. I called it "Ow, That Hurts!"

As I said - I read about it. But I did not like the sounding of it, mostly because between the lines it was like "we're not sure yet are we going to screw Anders...even more...or not".Not sure what effect Justice has on the taint. I don't have the post bookmarked, but I seem to remember David Gaider saying that Justice might delay or even eliminate Anders's Calling.
Same here, so good to see someone like-minded! I don't see it as pure "happy", though, I mean - no pink unicorns and fluffy kittens (and very likely -no apostate kids). But...it's theirs (and mine), damn. I don't like it when game breaks headcanons. But I do agree with you. I am content with the "happily ever after" ending that exists in my imagination. I don't need to bump into Hawke and Anders in-game to know that they're doing what they love/what they think is right.
A bright example of why I do not want to see more of him in DA3 - ME3 EC, "Normandy evac" scene. Worst thing ever happened cross the series. Out of characters (any), out of lore, out of plot... But some fans were so-so happy, as they had few more lines and 'dat touchy scene' with their LI.
(S)he went shopping, you know...yeah, right before [NewHero] arrived... 8E Anders ran out of dried newt eyes, and sent his spouse to get some..Or there'd better be a plausible explanation as to why Hawke isn't!
Why so hard? Just put image url between img tags. like this:The easiest way to remember how to put an image into your post was explained to me this way:

Like you, I love DA2 more than DAO. Although I would have loved if DA2 was as long and big as DAO ^^
As for Anders in DA3, I want to see him and Hawke and get to see a kiss after they run away together. To have to accept his suicide to get the "goodbye kiss" is a price to high to pay!!!!
On DAA, I have just finished playing it. I gotta say I was surprised. To me DA2 Anders is EXACTLY like DAA Anders + DAA Justice. The shallow / womanizing DAA Anders get's Justice's intensity and Justice's "busybody telling everyone what to do " ways and Justice mellows out (in acts 1 and 2) with Anders sense of humor and easy going warmness.
Also, when I decided to go save Vigils keep and leave Amarantine to burn, Anders was the one protesting!!! He sounded just like DA2 Anders <3 I think people who complain he is very different didn't pay a lot of attention to Anders in DAA. If you do, you see DA2 Anders easily, just masked by a "front" of Anders pretending to be more shallow than he really is.
I think I want to add a bit of DAA to my fanfic. I was writing Justice way too callous and obsessive. In DAA he feels envy for Kristoff's love of his wife and is touched by the many wonders of the mortal world. Seems that they are both very well written and not easyly confined to a flat "evil" or "good" role

I've since written the code down so if I have... problems... I have a reference.
As for Anders appearing in DA3, a mention in passing would satisfy me. While he was a core figure in DA2, it's time to move the story forward. Plus, I don't want to see what horrible things they do to his appearance as they did with Alistair, which goes to show the horribly awful difference in the graphics quality of DA2 v DAO. (But I've made my view on the pretty clear, so, enough said...)

I'm just starting. 8) Wanted to see myself what's there about DAA vs DA2 holywar. Ironically - DAA costed me more than both DAO and DA2 (as I got those on 50% sales) 8P. Hope it will worth its price...On DAA, I have just finished playing it.

You need one of the naked mods. That would really have completed the picture. And you know that Anders would have totally been into that, back in the day... except for the stickerbushes. Do they have briar roses in Ferelden?smallwhippet wrote...
Made me giggle too: reminded me of a particularly childish moment a few weeks ago, when I had Anders running around the Blackmarsh in nothing but boots, small clothes and that ridiculous lampshade of a hat! Afforded me a ridiculous amount of mirth.

Totally. In fact, I was thinking that picture could have been sooo much more NSFW if she was using Natural Bodies.berelinde wrote...

And I agree, DAA Anders would have totally done that... sticker bushes not withstanding.

PS: @ Nrieh - Go to Blackmarsh first, if you want to have Justice on your team ASAP.

Aint he a little bit overpowered for a mage, huh? I mean... countless runaway attempts and such - yeah, nice exercises, but still... 8P
But as a second thought - his DA2 staff animation...he must have had some physical training to do those things, hell yeah...
