Lord, it's been ages since I've been in this thread... have no idea if the Anders song playlist thing is even still going... but I keep hearing this song on the radio and it keeps reminding me of Hawke/Anders (there's really no escape, even if you fall into the rabbit hole of other games):

Ha. I'm glad someone else thinks of him when they hear certain songs. For instance, every time I hear "Lift Me Up" by Five Finger Death Punch or "In the End" by Black Veil Brides....or "Monster" by Skillet...

What is the title to the one you posted, DragonRacer?  Is it entitled "Kingdom Come"?  The lyrics are pretty fitting.  I'm more prone to think of "Brighter than the Sun" and "Beautiful Disaster" but I put in "Uprising" by Muse for his railing against injustice.

It's at the very bottom of all the lyrics... "Demons" by Imagine Dragons

Muse's "Uprising" is very appropriate!

The lyrics to Lift Me Up just make me think of all the things he's had to deal with in his life, just because he was born a mage.  The punishments, the threats, being told he can't have the same life as other men because of his magic.  The first verse is sort of like him saying "You know what? I'm not gonna bow down anymore."  The second verse makes me think of his crusade for mage freedom.  And the overall tempo and sound of the song just makes me think of a rebel...which Anders clearly is.

Looks like it has been pushed back to Fall of next year. If I have listened to it correctly, the Inquisitor position is a newly created one and you are given power to wield it. You have spies/people under you that you can send out to handle issues. Your job is to discover and deal with whomever caused the rend in the Veil.

Would you be happy enough playing it if Anders (or Justice) was indeed the source of all the problems?

I'm sorry, but it won't happen. Anders can die in DA2, so it won't be him. I assume that blood magic must've been at works to tear Veil asunder, and for all we know, Anders despises it.

I wasn't thinking that any of us would want it to happen but if that was the only way to see him again, would you be satisfied with it?  But you bring up an interesting point.  What if it turned out to be Merrill?

I'd appreaciate a cameo, of course. I love cameos. That's why I'm a bad role-player - I save as many characters as I can so they could be referred to in a sequel.

As for Merrill, you can have her smash this beautiful mirror of hers. Someone on BSN posted a BW's employee tweet that letting Merrill fix the Eluvian was a "bad idea". But taking these two variations into account, BW would never let her become villain.

And even if they did, she wouldn't have done that on purpose imo.

He looks kinda sleezy in DA2, and IIRC, Isabela does mention having threesome . Even before playing DA2 for the first time I'd downloaded a quite decent headmorph for him that doesn't make him uglier nor looking like a ****got (and I've seen a lot redesigns that make him look as such).

I like Anders is looks in DA2 better than on DAA but they aren't that different. It is Anders personality - and obviously voice actor - that changed. He grew up and he now works for and fights for the things he cares about.

Still, this one is easily one of the best morphs for him I've seen out there (here it is). The one with short hair is great imo.

Meh, I saw him for the first time in DA2 on my Xbox unmodded, so that is the face I fell for. I went back and played Awakenings, and it was interesting to see how he had changed. I'll admit I did download a mod for my PC version, though all it really did was change his facial hair to a sort of scruffy goatee, his hair to the Awakenings style and add his earring back...and it did give me a nice outfit and staff for him.

I'm pretty fond of this one as well.  If they skipped the scar I'd probably pick it up.

She does have a head morph without the scar, which is the one I'm using.



I love this little smile he gives her during the rescue of the escaped mages from Starkhaven...I was lucky to catch this moment just right.

I doubt it. Tearing the veil on such scale requires godlike skills.

I am using a mod which gives him his blond beard and awakenings hearcut back. Like it better than the brown one
