 ^^ Right. Oopsies, I forgot. I'm glad all of that is over now. Way to hectic for my tastes.

(BTW that art is amazing. I've checked out her other pieces and they're all awesome. I wish I could draw/paint like that... or, at all. The best I can so is a slightly realistic stick figure-like person, and I can paint just as good as a 5 year old using finger paint. :/)

The Anders love hasn't gone by any means: it just seems mostly to have moved to tumblr.

Was made anxious the other week, when Adam Howden, in response to a Twitter question, said that, sadly, he wouldn't be in DA:I... but we *may* still be able to hope.

 There's still hope.
Just because Howden isn't going to be in DAI doesn't necessarily mean Anders won't. They changed Anders' voice actor once before (Greg Ellis to Adam Howden), and they can do it again, right? (Although I will miss Howden's sexy accent. :C *sighs* Too bad.)

I've even gotten to watch one of my fave artists on deviant art draw a few pics on her livestream. You can find me over there under the same name I use here, and my RP blog is under rebelsprite. I've seen Aimo do a drawing on livestream before. It was amazing. It's artistry like that that makes me fully realize how horrible my art skills are.

Having played both a male and a female Hawke now, I'm confused.  Why does Anders auto-flirt with male Hawke, and not with female Hawke?  As with a great many things in DA2, it seems to contradict Awakening Anders.

He autoflirts a male Hawke.  If Hawke is at all judgemental or picks the broken heart, rivalry is awarded.  If you're playing a male and want to avoid rivalry, you can flirt here and ignore heart options later and not wind up stuck with him.  If you don't mind a little rivalry go ahead and nip it in the bud - friendship can be raised later if you want.

As for why he's different now from in Awakenings, since only F!wardens get to flirt with him, he may just have a policy of not talking to women about that side of his sexuality.

Personally, I had my guesses about Anders even in Awakening. I've always thought he got rather close with one of the male Wardens I played, even though there were no directly flirty lines. Then there's that "I'm scared. Hold me?" line when you get to the Blackmarsh.

Same guy from Awakening, according to imdb.  Adam Leadbeater.

Thanks! We might want to keep an eye out to see if Adam Leadbeater will be back. And since Cullen is getting love this round (at least it's very likely) they may well be going back to the original voice actor for Anders. Let us hope so. And if not...dlc?

The original voice actor for Anders is Greg Ellis... the same man who voices Cullen. So it's not likely. That's why they hired a new voice actor for Anders in DA2.

The original voice actor for Anders is Greg Ellis... the same man who voices Cullen. So it's not likely. That's why they hired a new voice actor for Anders in DA2.

It was more because Cullen had a smaller role- Greg Ellis didn't have enough time to take up Anders' role at the time. Anders showing up doesn't get ruled out simply by another character sharing the same voice actor, it depends on how much time the voice actor has to take the role, and if they're willing to of course.

Hey, Anders was just showing off his festive side on New Years, that's all. Kirkwall was so depressing - it needed something to liven up the place, and Anders' fireworks display worked perfectly. >;3
