No DLC featuring him or Justice, but he's mentioned again later in the game. He's also referenced in two banters, one between Varric and Cole, and another with Varric and Cassandra.

Varric is touchy when you ask him about Anders, but...He's most likely lying about his whereabouts, since at that point he is still lying to Cassandra about not knowing where Hawke is. So if they are together it makes sense he's being evasive. You can't tell for sure, but I think that Varric probably still cares about Anders despite everything...because of the way he tells Hawke the Inquisition has a "pretty good chance of fixing blondie's mess." I saw that as a sign Varric and Hawke both think helping the Inquisitor will help themselves find redemption (Hawke feels guilty for Corypheus and Varric about the idol), as well as Anders.

I went everywhere with my party of Anders (my Hawke's lover boy), Sebastian, and Fenris. The four of us went to talk to Cullen ALL THE TIME.   

 

Every time we ran through the gallows gate, either Sebastian or Fenris would start harping at Anders, or Anders would say he shouldn't be there, or Sebastian would fawn over Fenris's fighting skills and invite him to Starkhaven. I really think Sebastian has a crush on Fenris.

Oh yes, I always romance Fenris first and I also will flirt with Sebastian after I'm with Anders but it's not for real...I just do it because it flusters Sebastian. I need flirt options for Cullen.

If your Hawke romanced Anders he knows.. Also he says the Inquisition "has a chance to fix Blondie's mess" but he and Hawke and Anders are still friends

There doesn't seem to be any mention of Justice if Anders is dead, though.  I'm a bit disappointed, not that many of my playthroughs end with Anders dead, but it would be ineresting to see Justice as a separate entity again.

Maybe sell the idea a bit better?  I'm not certain if I should click or not.  If you feel it is good enough to put out there and to ask people to read, then it shouldn't be that awful.  If it is, why not ask for some beta-readers so you can polish it up and then repost when you are able to be happy with it.  Either way, just writing a story is a real accomplishment and you should give yourself some credit.  Many people have ideas for a good story but never have the discipline to carry it out.  You did.  Once you have it, you can always make it better.

Really?  What does he say for rivalmance?  I only have a friendmance uploaded.  (Have you managed to upload more than one game to the Keep?  It only recognizes my *very first* playthrough, as in my practice characters.  Bleh!)

I don't remember all the exact wording, but it's something about how there was a voice inside him that cried out for justice for the mages, and "by the end it was so loud it drowned out everything else. Even me." I think it's the closest any Hawke comes to admitting he was possessed - rivaled non-romanced Hawke just calls him crazy.

As for the Keep, I dunno. It seems to recognize all the characters I made. And since you have to enter every decision manually, I've been able to play with quite a few world states. I've changed things around so many times I don't think I have a canon anymore at this point.

I posted a couple pages ago but I will say it again: it makes me so happy that I'm not alone here with my strongly positive Anders feels

I was in a friendmance and got that exact answer.  I think it's perhaps due to setting the Keep decision of not approving his actions of destroying the chantry.  I thought that answer was PERFECT for that particular choice, so I was very happy with it.

Huh, I was under the impression that that approve/disapprove of his actions was the friend/rival trigger. How did you determine friendmance then?

The Keep only recognizes Varric's rivalry vs friendship setting. The other friend or rivalmances don't exist anymore, they might as well have never been coded.

Good Point.  In my playthrough I was in a friendmance but flipped crap when he blew up the chantry and even broke it off with him at the end (which Inquisition didn't recognize since Hawke and Anders were still together).  The line was still pretty good for a friendmance who didn't approve of his actions since depending on player's view, he betrayed them.  The approve/disapprove of actions could be a friend/rival trigger though; didn't think of it that way.

Apparently a lot of people went nuts over that (according to the people I follow on tumblr) but yeah, it's very disconcerting.  If Dragon Age DLC includes former companions from past games, I'll flip a table if Anders shows up looking that decrepit.
