It doesn't spoil anything because the show has nothing to do with the books anymore. The last two seasons were about M. Night Shwhatshisname level.

Once in a while I check what the latest threads are, and then I saw this long lost thread again!  And then immediately see the 1st post and got distracted by the Dancing Anders and nearly forgot to actually read what was the latest post.  Still getting Anders fix from the excellent fanfics continually being published.
