I posted that earlier, and seriously. It made *me* blush and...I am a hard person to get that sort of reaction out of. I do find the idea of him taking everything else off and then throwing on the pauldrons (and the boots because, sexy) to be amusing, but still. I love it.

The way she said it sounds exactly like "bomb" to me. I laughed so hard because I knew what Anders was doing because, srsly, he's asking for the key ingrediant for medieval gunpowder and a stone with "dragon" in the name, what the **** else is he going to be doing? Burning down a forest then adding fertilizer so he can finally achieve his dream of being a pyromaniac farmer? I think not.

If you are talking about the fanfic on FF.net I didn't write it. I just made the video.I am horrible at fanfic since it's been so long that I've written anything besides my own orgianl works for NaNoWriMo. However I cracked and I'm writing a fic where Maria, my canon Hawke, gets Anders a cat. It's sort of lighthearted because we need happy Anders! Just for a bit at least. If only FF.net would let me upload it...

Oooh, maybe Hawke and Anders figure out a quick release system for the robes that leave the pauldrons in place? It would save some time.

Now I'm imagining Anders wearing his breakaway robes in battle. Fighting street thugs in Hightown would certainly be more entertaining if there was a chance that Anders might end up mostly naked by the end of it. (I just received a permanant 10 rivalry points from Fenris just for thinking that).

Heh. Any canon I have at all will feature Anders as a romance. Your Hawke is very pretty! That's my Hawke I used on my first playthrough on my icon, too.

Your Hawke is so pretty.  All my follow-up Hawkettes are much more bad-ass looking and less adorable feminine stuff... ah, we shall see.
May dark skin, white hair for Anders and white skin, dark hair for Fenris?  Or the other way around?
I have such a thing for the white hair option in this game, it's not even funny!

Thank you! I was actually surprised, because while she looks feminine and pretty in the pic, in the game she manages to look tough, too. I've totally got a thing for the white hair option, too *G* Either way, I vote for contrast between skin and hair. I like stark contrast

Anders pushed EVERYONE's buttons.  I think it was a hobby.  Or frustrated over not getting my Warden and taking it out on everyone else.

I think the only thing Nate and Anders agreed on was that Moira was awesome.

Anyway, Anders. Because of Miri, I loaded a save from the Fade and pretended like I was going to side with Torpor. Not only does Justice flip out, it effectively ends the relationship if you don't tell Anders that it was a ruse. That conversation is heartbreaking, too, because he's something like, "I have been driving myself mad thinking of what possibly could be worth enough to you that you would strike me down. Did you even know if I'd wake up again?" It's pretty intense to think about, yet Fenris doesn't even bring up the "I tried to kill you in the Fade" later, he's just angry at Hawke for taking him (as a rival).

You can still flirt with Anders later, but he dismisses it with "Don't tease me; you've already made it clear that we're just friends. And I'm fine with that."

I just have to say again how well-written Anders is. That line is so sad. D: Is it for romanced Hawke only? I don't even think I would betray Anders/Justice like that on a non-romance playthrough knowing that he'll live through it. I also left Justice at Vigil's Keep in Awakening because I knew I would have to kill him when my Warden sided with the Architect. Now I'm going to wonder if he acts just as heartbroken there...

If you want some pointers on the mage I would suggest going with the lightning stuff (chain and tempest) then going into the Force Mage tree for the pull of the abyss. Just think of it this way...Sith Mage

And now I have a new Hawke to plan out.

On another note, I was surprised by the Justice hatin' several pages back.  Don't forget how really awesome Justice is (was?).  And Anders is (and was).  But the merging of the two did bad stuff, and neither of them are who they originally were.

I was never a big fan of Justice in Awakening, actually. I found him a dull killjoy and never really took him anywhere - the same with Nate and Velanna. Anders, Sigrun and Oghren were my besties, so the conflict in having my favourite and second least-favourite characters from that expac return as a combined entity was a bit... well, weird. Since Justice doesn't actually exist anymore it's a little easier to handle; I actually think Vengeance is far more interesting and exciting than Justice ever was. 

You know... I felt bad for Justice.  We got along and I took him sometimes, but he could not win against Oghren!  And I don't generally play with 2 warriors, always 2 mages.  Velanna stayed home some times, I mostly prefered Anders but sometimes brought her along for the GRRR lol.  And I brought her for the final battles so she'd survive (like that even mattered, SIGH).  
But Oghren and Sigrun were almost always with me!  Loved them to bits.
Nathaniel was meh.  I liked that he had archery, it was cool, but still... meh.

Poor Justice. I always brought him everywhere. Except, you know... the final mission. But that was for his own good. I didn't want to kill him.
