Justice thought Anders should fight against oppression. Anders wanted to avoid it. Justice disapproved. xD

These dialogues break. my. heart. ;A;
And concerning mages:

* Justice: I understand that you struggle against your oppression, mage.
* Anders: I avoid my oppression. That's not quite the same thing, is it?
* Justice: Why do you not strike a blow against your oppressors? Ensure they can do this to no one else?
* Anders: Because it sounds difficult?
* Justice: Apathy is a weakness.
* Anders: So is death. I'm just saying.

* Justice: I believe you have a responsibility to your fellow mages.
* Anders: That bit of self-righteousness is directed at me?
* Justice: You have seen oppression and are now free. You must act to free those who remain oppressed.
* Anders: Or I could mind my business, in case the Chantry comes knocking.
* Justice: But this is not right. You have an obligation.
* Anders: Yes, well... welcome to the world, spirit.

Little bit of annoyance, little bit of curiosity, imo.

By the end of their relationship it's pretty obvious they're friends. Anders apologises for suggesting that Justice might become a Demon, and Justice is all "you're my bro!" It's quite sweet, actually.

I just realized, Justice didn't even seem to be on a first-name basis with Anders. He calls him "mage."

He doesn't call any of the companions by their names, I think he calls Nathaniel "Thief". Mage is a step up in that regard

UMMM... things have gone horrible wrong in my canon file that I'm replaying.  For some reason Merrill has shown up for sexy times at the Hawke estate.

Merrill, please don't make me shoot you down!  You're so precious and sweet, and it will just break my heart to make you sad.  How did this happen?  I don't think I ever flirted with her.  Oh wait, no.  I did that one time just so I could get the funny comment about hitting on Varric all the time.  Yikes, just one flirt and now this!  Damnit, Merrill!

And in the short story about the camp burning down when he first merged with Justice. And I believe something about his childhood and burning a barn in the same story, I think.

I still LOL at that. Makes me think of the time when his Awakening intro shows him using Flame Blast, but he had no such spells in his possession when you recruit him. Serious WTF right there. XD

Uh ohhhh. I did that on my first playthrough...only with Fenris. I was having so much fun flirting that I forgot that I probably shouldn't flirt with more than one person at a time. Hahah
Nevertheless, he showed up at my estate, going, "Tell me to leave and I shall."
I , of course, being diplomatic (and flirtatious) Hawke, told him he should stay, and they...err...consumated their accidental relationship.

I was just sitting there like: ....I  just wanted to check my writing desk.

It was alright though. He left me, so I was able to back-track and continue chasing down Anders.

You just have to pick that you sided with templars and spared Anders and of course the power of lurve or something made him change his mind. Ick. I will pretend they're just kissing there for lulz as a big F U to the templars

That's horribly out of character even for him. A militant mage suddenly changes his mind just for you? Wth? So does this mean he can stay in the party after all if you side with the templars and spared him? It feels so....wrong.

He was just kidding about the whole 'at any cost' thing! He actually put up a giant green screen and projected a CG image of the chantry exploding for the lulz.
