Yep. It's set in stone.

I didn't get an answer to my question before, so I'll ask it again - is it possible for Hawke to support what Anders did, blowing up the Chantry? Because the videos I've seen have Hawke not agreeing with it.
I remember there being a "you're right!" option.Batteries wrote...

There's no explicit "Good job, bro! *fistbump*" option.
But I cannot remember most the other options right now.

And how interesting is it that he still has lines he won't cross, despite everything he's done? I would have almost expected him to use blood magic and justify it as being necessary for the cause. And he doesn't.
That's one of the things that interested me; that despite the blood he's willing to shed in his cause, he can't be an Orsino. He has limits, and he won't become a full-on abomination (versus a half-demon, I think he calls himself). I think perhaps in his mind, that means the templars win? Sometimes I feel that Anders is making himself out to be every mage in Thedas, in a sense. What he's willing to do should be the limit in his mind.

I think you have a point there. But I also think he thinks it's important to prove that mages aren't doomed to become abominations or mind controlling monsters. He desperately wants to prove that there's a possibility other than one group holding the other in virtual slavery. Both Telvinter and Kirkwall are unacceptable alternatives. He does something horrible, but it's almost mundane. He could have used Quinari powder for the same purposes. No demons need apply (except for the obvious).

I thought the explosion was magical in nature, just not of the "I'm going to set a demon loose or use blood magic to control you" variety? But I could be wrong.
As for DA:O, I peacefully resolved the situation in Ferelden, just because I think it's so perfect and depressing to have my two PCs working at cross purposes. My DA:O Warden was a Liberatarian mage, but she promoted peaceful change. My Hawke and Anders have in one stroke undone everything she strove for.

Call me a hopeless romantic, but I hope someone might be able to do up a mod that allows us to replay the kiss/love scene or something when we talk to Anders (or other romances) in our house/their base...(Although I know modding the game is difficult now).
That was something I missed from Origins.

Oh me too!![]()
But that's why I have a save right before that conversation and his love scene so I can watch it over and over again! <3

Yes, well. Think of it as fertilizer. We all should have seen that coming as soon as he opened his mouth.... http://en.wikipedia....b#Terrorist_use
Oh don't ruin the fun!I'd rather just be silly and call it the "poop bomb". It helps take away some of the sting of that scene.
Seriously, does anyone else now have a hard time doing Act 3? I love Acts 1 and 2, but as soon as I start Act 3 my heart just sinks. I hate seeing what happens to Anders.

Thinking back to all the things he said in Awakening, I am surprised he didn't crack sooner. I mean, a year in solitary confinement, all those escape attempts... I felt in Awakening it was played off a lot as "Oh, you." because of his humor (as in, I didn't necessarily think much about it because they were usually passing mentions in humorous stories and when he did get mad he always went back to the jocularity). DA2 really puts a lot of that into perspective.

First things first! We need a mod that gets Anders out of his clothes at the end of the romance scene. Maybe put his head on the male Hawke body model in his underwear or something?
Seriously, it's ridiculous that they fall on the bed and presumably have sex then it cuts to Hawke back in her robe by the fire... and Anders fully dressed. Hawke's robe is understandable; that thing probably just shrugs on and off. Anders had to lace up those crazy boots, do all the buckles on his coat, arrange his feathers, etc.

Put him and Fenris and Seb in a party and wander around for a bit.
It quickly descends from snarking to the most incredible passive aggressive b***chery ever. Seriously, I wanted to be able to turn Hawke around and give them each a good slap upside the head.
