Really? I don't think so. Anders had some innuendos with Nate too. It was the first time he made me wonder with his allusive tone about robes and being naked xD I think the "old witty happy" Anders would have been perfectly fine with Nathaniel. But hey, it's just my head after all xD

Anders had one innuendo with Nate and, judging from what we know about Anders now, it was deflect-o mode. I never got the impression that Nathaniel did more than tolerate Anders. He didn't hate him, but there isn't a whole lot there to indicate heat between them.

Not that it stopped me from writing a Nate/Anders flirt fic, but I admit that it was just because I liked the idea of them, uh, flirting. 

I totally agree with you here.  I've always been of the mind that Nate tolerated Anders and that was where it ended.  I get the attraction of putting those two together, but it just doesn't work for me.  I just can't seen Anders being the type to butter Nathaniel's bread so to speak.

LOL, so true.  I also love what Hawke can say to Varric when Varric warns him/her about Anders:

Hawke: Have I ever given you the impression that I'm turned off by crazy?

My Hawke really doesn't care how dangerous and crazy Anders is, because she is not the safest or sanest person herself.

I always saw the robes comment as Anders screwing with Nate's head because Nate is so serious most of the time. Same with the "I'm fond of the Who's and the What's" comment. I need to run through Awakening again. I know! I'll do it at the same time I do the rivalry romance! It'll be the most depressing thing ever. *sob* My head canon, ruined!

BAHAHAHAHAHA!  There are no words for how much I love this; the Llamas in Hats videos amuse me way more than they should.  And every time Anders mentioned Karl, I would just say out loud: "KAAAAAAAARRRRLLLL".
