They have to be adorable, otherwise people would strangle them to death.

I miss Awakening Anders A LOT. I played thru DAO with my heart set on Alistair and then my Warden met Anders in Awakening. She so would have left her King husband for Anders. Anders is the reason I enjoyed playing Awakening. Maybe that is why I can't help but to spare him at the end of DAO 2 and romance him only. I want to try to romance Fenris just once but everytime I go to flirt with him Anders face pops in my head and I never succeed.

How did you do it? I tried flirting with Fenris once, and ended up reloading the save before the conversation because it didn't feel right. Felt like I was cheating...on a fictional character...with another....oh brother I'm a mess.

Sorry if I've missed it being discussed already but I just noticed the wiki makes mention of an arrest warrant arriving for Anders being a tipping point. I've not seen that in game - was it removed or is there a bug?

Really? I don't think so. Anders had some innuendos with Nate too. It was the first time he made me wonder with his allusive tone about robes and being naked xD I think the "old witty happy" Anders would have been perfectly fine with Nathaniel. But hey, it's just my head after all xD

Anders had one innuendo with Nate and, judging from what we know about Anders now, it was deflect-o mode. I never got the impression that Nathaniel did more than tolerate Anders. He didn't hate him, but there isn't a whole lot there to indicate heat between them.

Not that it stopped me from writing a Nate/Anders flirt fic, but I admit that it was just because I liked the idea of them, uh, flirting.

You actually triggeered that line?  I was curious if it was in game dialogue or just one of those things that never got used.  How did you trigger it?  Do you remember?

Well on my Pro-templar run I told Cullen that I suspected 'one of my companions' of plotting against the Chantry (I couldn't tell Elthina because she kept brushing me off with a 'I hope you're not trying to talk me out of staying again' and I wasn't about to say it in front of Anders!) and he replied that he was also suspicious of Anders and had ordered a raid on Darktown to bring him in but Anders was nowhere to be found. Evidently, Cullen hadn't heard that Anders had openly moved in with Hawke...

The Nathaniel quest is bugged. There is a DA2 import fix (I think that's what it's called) that fixes it. For PC.
It also fixes the check for who you successfully romanced if you imported a Witch Hunt or Awakening save.

I'll just assume when Anders moved to Kirkwall, he saw Varric at some point. He then had to go all hipster and take his earring out because it had gotten too mainstream.

Justice thought Anders spent too long preening in the morning and made him cut his hair and ditch the earring.

I like Justice As Practical but Boring Quasi-Parental Figure. There are many lulz to be had in this dynamic.

It's mentioned in the guide book as well. I've never seen it in game either.

ETA: Ha! I just went to Sundermount for the first time on this character, and one of the ambient comments Anders made was, "In my experience, all Dalish women are crazy." Oh, Velanna. I wonder if he still says that if the Warden was Dalish as well.

He does. I laughed. He has at least one banter with Merrill about the Dalish Warden too.
