When I draw I think "okay it's good enough - maybe I can show it to the others and ask them what I should change"... and as soon as I post here I think "oh no what have I done?? It's horrible!"

I CANNOT DRAW HIM T_T
It's not fair D:
Not that it keeps me from doing so xD
(... DeviantArt doesn't like me <_<)
in colourit's even worse XD
lol and again it's not what I originally wanted to draw...
<_<
I don't want to annoy youI'm just bored as hell - and I love posting here XD
Just a question: Why do the other characters have a collection of links to fanfiction/fanarts/banners on the first page while we have almost nothing? o_o Am I the only one who thinks that we should do this, too? xD
No clue. Don;t look at me though. I can't post my fanfic until 930pm tonight.D=
Why not do livejournal? Outside of the sometimes evil actions of the staff, I mean.

Totally OT but I am envious of you writers and artists. I am knitting socks that make me think of Merrill and I have been wondering what kind of socks would be representing Anders but not much inspiration so far.
Hah! I just started to knit. Can only make scarves though.

LOL, same here except I'd invite Merrill too, if only to see her turn purple in shock. And then take notes. Anders probably has amazing stories but he's too busy with his blah blah mages blah blah templars blah blah kittens to elaborate. He should, for great justice. It's only fair.
It's like the silly swearing tax jars people buy that you have to put coins in for every "bad word." Except every time he says 'mages' or 'templars' he has to tell a... story.
I approve of this.

Justice: And what help do you think to find for yourself?
Anders: The kind that makes you quieter and everyone else more attractive.
Anders: Also, sex. Since you keep saying awkward things around Hawke, this will just have to do.
Justice: Awkward?
Anders: "I would drown us both in blood"?
Justice: It is romantic.
Anders: In crazytown, maybe.
Ha!
I love this! Well done. =)

There are two reasons for this. One is that I wanted this to be more than just a fan thread and thought that front-loading it with fanworks would be counterintuitive to this purpose.
The other is because, at the time of posting, there wasn't a ton of DA2 specific fanworks that felt appropriate to post. (Personally, any banner that involves the Chantry, or even the Goddammit, Anders meme, is pretty spoilery). I have an invitation to submit fics and art to me, which I will post in the reserved second post, but I haven't received any. Because of how discussion heavy this thread has been, art and stuff has not been my primary concern up until this point. If anyone wants to throw some banners my way, I can list them and, at some point over the next couple of days, I can get some art posted.
FWIW, the third post has links the ff.net listing for Anders fics and links to the Dev Art community.

No, I meant about the Blooming Rose. When Anders was in Denerim and at The Pearl, he was Anders Anders, so he definitely got, uh, up to a lot of ~shenanigans~ there, as Isabela can attest.
It is both a shame and a relief that the more promiscuous DA characters don't go into more detail about their past ~shenanigans~. Though I want to be Isabela's best friend and sit on her bed in our pajamas with ice cream and play the most lopsided game of Never Have I Ever in history.
Especially when you consider that Hawke is somewhere between 19 and 25 when we meet him/her, and lived the last ten years on the outskirts of a horrible little village in the middle of nowhere, where the family had to keep a low profile. I have a feeling that - unless Hawke really cut loose when s/he finally got to the big city - Bethany and Carver wouldn't be the only ones subjected to Isabela's teasing.

i can knit. Squares and varying sized rectangles. LOL Socks to represent Anders: You remember them being warm and fuzzy but they end up full of holes and leave you cold. Awww, poor feet. =( At least the Fenris socks would be easy, never start!
I have been trying to do a Justice/Anders arty mashup thing but... what my creation has been ending up is so very different than in my head. *sigh* One day I may get it done. One day.

I think you are underestimating the extreme ingenuity and desperation of teenagers when it comes to getting laid. Carver managed it, after all, with Peaches. XD

I know! But it's stuck in ma'head now! Because you know Velanna wouldn't be the sane one which would force Anders to be more in control, and the Justice would, he would....ooww, ok I brought something trying to explain that one. LOL, I'll just stick with my regular Awakening Ships Nate/Vel, and Anders/Sigrun, because yes, I always pair characters, I can't stop.

Oh, sure, it's just a possibility! I just like to imagine it - after 21 years of not being able to do anything with anyone for fear of attracting attention, my Hawke is finally released into the wilds at Ostagar, surrounded by hundreds of hot, muscular, heavily-armed men and women, and no Mother constantly looking over her shoulder.
And then everyone dies.
