I was thinking of my innocent awkward Hawke...and this being her first relationship. Whew...what a relationship it is. If something ever happened to Anders how do you explain to the next guy your first love was like...LOL. :P

Silly Fanfic.net rules.

This mean they finally fixed the problem with posting new stories?  Or is this some rule I am not aware of?

It's been awhile but I'm pretty sure that once you sign up for an account, you have to wait awhile before you can start posting.

Do days to be exact.

And I hope you all at least humor me. XD

I don't think there's a Facebook status for this one.

In a relationship -- well, yeah, but...
It's complicated -- true, but that's not really...
In a domestic partnership -- I guess, although...

I always pictured my Hawke who had never taken love as seriously as he did with Anders, so that whole line about "I've never felt this way about anyone," to me was something more like "Wow I am really feeling the connection with this guy" rather than "HAWKE HUNGRY WANT MANWICH"

I mean that did come later, but he really wanted to protect and cuddle Anders. D:

Exactly this.  Same with Anders feeling for Hawke.  "I never felt like drowning someone in blood for love before..."

I think it'd be one of those cases where things are better if left unexplained.  Unless you want the other person to run screaming for the hills :P

Hawke is an unwilling participant in their threesome. Poor Hawke.

My Hawke is definitely not a virgin at all when she and Anders finally get together (she's sleeps with Fenris and Isabela before him) but she's not lying when she tells him that he's the first person she's ever felt "that" way about.

And I think she's pretty much ruined for a relationship with anyone outside of her friend group. I can not even imagine being able to explain what went down to anyone who didn't see it firsthand. So if something horrible happens to Anders, it's Isabela all the way.

Does anybody else mutter, "Goddamnit Anders, why do you have such a sexy voice," when they're talking to him?

I know I do.

Curse BioWare and their VA choices! :P

I'm sure it would have had a greater affect for me if I didn't live with someone who's English. That's why Sebastian's Scottish brogue made my knees wobbly.

And this is why I enjoyed playing a utterly-clueless-about-magic warrior Hawke lol. "Hah, funny, a fade spirit, never heard that one before... I'll just go ask Bethany what that is... oh she died of the blight. Well. She liked Anders enough, he can't be too bad."

The real dealbreaker for Hawke in that case would be if the other person was not amused by her liberal use of puns.

My Hawke is a huge cornball.

Ohh Sebastian.
When he says, "What happened to my family was murder", I go all starry eyed.

Anders' voice is sexy, too....but honestly, Zevran's voice will always be my favorite. Of. All. Time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who giggles at his accent.  It's sexy, yes, but also so silly!

Mine, too.
In fact, no one finds her funny. At all. Seriously.
Like when Keeper Marethari takes her aside during "Night Terrors", and my Hawke was like, "Sorry, Marethari, you're just not my type". All I got was a disapproving "mom" look, and a "this is not the time for jokes".

My Hawke believes it's ALWAYS the time for jokes. As she also illustrated during "The First Sacrifice" when she hands Emeric the bag of bones, and he says, "Well I guess there's no chance of finding them alive, then...", and my Hawke goes, "Well, unless there are a bunch of boneless women walking around." Totally pissed Emeric off.

:P

As much as I liked Howden's voice work, I would've liked to have heard Anders' German aksent. I mean, assuming he was born and raised in the Anderfels until he at least was 10.

Sarcastic Hawke is the best Hawke because you get all the confused or irritated responses from NPCs.Also "Want a sandwich?"

Anders' response is great.
"Ha, you'll be the inspiration for generations of romantic poets".
And does anyone else think his voice is ULTRA sexy when he's talking to Hawke in that scene? Anyone?

Oh, god. That line to Emeric is my favorite line in any video game ever.

"If they're not dead, be on the lookout for a bunch of boneless women flopping through the streets."

And, oddly enough, Fenris seems strangely amused by sarcastic Hawke in conversation. Not all the the time, but I've gotten a few snorts and grins out of him.
