I really want a zip file of his soundset, like the one that someone put together for Awakenings.

My Hawke doesn't say Anders is down any more - she screams "ANDERS" when he goes - I'm assuming this is a romance specific thing. It's a bit wibbly.
And yes, I think you have to be controlling Anders in battle for him to say the "No no don't be dead!" line. It's so lovely!
Anders dies a lot more often than my Hawke, so I've heard that one.

You're not the only one.
Well then, what the hell is his real name?
I MUST KNOW.
Bit late on this, but I can't help wondering if he ever told Hawke, if they were in a relationship. It seems a bit sad to think that though they'd been together for years and he was willing to let Hawke kill him, he only ever told him/her an obvious nickname.

Justice: LEAVING THE DISHES FOR HAWKE IS NOT JUST.
Anders: Shhh. I'll make it up to her in OTHER ways.
Justice: ooooh, really? LEAVING THE DISHES FOR HAWKE WILL SERVE OUR CAUSE.[/quote]

Somehow I can't imagine Hawke doing the dishes, or any housework. That's what Bodahn and obedient elven servants are for!
(Uh, oh, Bodahn resigned but the elven servant totally stayed...and got blown up along with the mansion...

Mansion should be fine. It was in pretty good shape when they dragged Varric there.

It was right next to the Chantry! Was THAT Hawke's home?

"Anders, why is the kitchen a smoldering ruin?"
"I removed the chance of washing dishes, because there IS no washing dishes!"
"Anders, that makes literally no sense. And you're sleeping on the couch tonight."
"D:"
LOL Oh, god. I would totally use this excuse, too.
Also, am I the only one who hires Orana? Between her, Bodahn and Sandal (and Merrill for plant watering) my Hawke has no personal responsibility whatsoever. It is awesome.
And I pretend like the weird deviations in voice tone with sarcastic Hawke is part of her sense of humor. So when she says "I want you right here, until the day we die!" she follows up with "And maybe I'll take a lock of your hair, and wear it with me so I'll always have a piece of you close by!"
And then she laughs, ignoring the death of a tiny light of hope in Anders' eyes that she might actually have something resembling human emotions.

Obviously, the Amells planned for exploding religious buildings. Or high tides.
Yeah, it's the estate that Varric's in. You can see the crest on the outside in the ending movie.
Tangentially, I see Anders as being the sort that might try the domestic route every once and awhile, if only for the novelty of it.

The way the Chantry exploded--all the pieces sort of went up in the air and then BOOM out into the sky with a big cloud of dust on the ground. Maybe that's why Hawke's mansion is still standing?
How do you know it still standing!

P much. Though my Hawke is sneakily responsible. Like, ask him why Bethany's dead? His fault. Why his mum's dead? His fault. Why Carver is a Templar? His fault. Why Anders is nuts? His fault.
It's really egotistical, in a way, but he'd never let anyone know. Varric probably does. They mind meld like an old married couple. Or Anders with a spirit.

Because Varric's dragged out of it and I don't think Hawke stuck around to supervise repairs?
"No, no, love, I'll be ready to run away with you the moment I get a bid from the contracters.""

Supposedly it is the building Cassandra interrogated Varric in...I didn't see any missing walls or roof or anything.

I think I remember my Hawke going "Way to kill the romance, there." And yet, the only way to agree was to do the "I want you here for the rest of our lives" line. Oh, well. I just rewrite that part in my head.
Ah, good, I'm not the only one who was annoyed by that line. Great for a friendly, sweet Hawke. Not so much for snarky Hawke. Even worse for "double-cross me and I'll hamstring you" Hawke.
Woe. ;3;
You are soooo not alone. One of the few times I was 100% unhappy with the dialogue wheel. "She would never say that! Ever! In a thousand years! She just asked about sandwiches in response to a declaration of love, for heaven's sake!"

If only my bf weren't playing Crysis 2 on the Xbox, I'd check if this is true. I could swear it's by the Chantry...
Why would they drag Varric into Hawke's mansion?

Remember the beginning of Act 2? When you leave the Viscount's Keep and it takes two seconds to get to the Estate? lol

Because they don't have a Chantry to use anymore? *rimshot*

I added a "... which will probably be any day now, given our current lifestyle."Miri1984 wrote...
I add a "which might be tomorrow if you don't do your share of the cooking" to the "I want you right here till the day we die" line in my head.
I admit, I do love the "don't be dead" line from Anders. I never get it since the man heals Hawke the moment she gets a papercut, but maybe I'll take spirit healer as my second specialization and leave him on perma-Justice mode in fights.
