Aww, lol!  The only person my husband has ever been told he looks like is Alan Tudyk (aka Wash from Firefly), which only upsets him.

I didn't and Carver died. It's funny because his death was, like most scenes, very anti-climatic. All my friends were like "I'm so sorry he died." and I was like "That's cool. I got over it when I suddenly had all this money."

So what changes what hairstyle everyone has? My two female playthroughs got what I believe are the default hairstyles of everyone but the one time I started a male...it was so BIZZARE.

I think it depends on what preset you use to build your PC's face. In the "Post you Custom Hawke" thread, someone had linked what presets bring out faces you get for family.

I got to the Justice Quest and helped him out, Justice told me to GTFO again but instead of sounding lost and afraid Anders said there had to be something he could do before walking off.

darn this thread moves too fast. I got this response on my non romance rivalry playthrough.... alas it didn't make any difference at the end he wouldn't side with the templars. It seems the only guy that got him too in the other thread now says he glitched it, it wasn't through dialog so it seems it truly is cut out or bugged.

LOL, very true.  I wonder if Orsino's dialogue would change at all in that case?  Either that or we were wrong about Anders as a character the whole time and he is actually just the biggest troll ever born.  The dialogue would have to go down like this:

Orsino: ...but do not kill us all for an act we did not even commit!
Troll!Anders: LOL
Meredith: The grand cleric is dead, killed by a mage
Troll!Anders: U MAD
Orsino: Yeah, THAT mage!  The one right beside you, who's helping you kill the rest of us!

Troll is absolutely not the right term for what Anders does if he blows up the Chantry then sides with the Templars. It's completely misleading and undervalues his complete ****tery in such a scenario.

Indeed, it's a ridiculous ending.  I'm glad that it seems to be so bugged it's unobtainable, since it really doesn't fit with Anders's character at all.

OT sorta and a few pages late, but I <3 Apocalyptica.  Hall of the Mountain King is my favorite, but I don't think that fits Anders very well.  Unless we get DLC with his time as a Warden wandering the Deep Roads.

Speaking of Anders songs, did anyone else find the first song to roll with the credits particularily moving?  I already really love Florence + the Machine (and especially this version of the song) and I know that this song says in parentheses that it's Varric's theme, but somehow I'm Not Calling You A Liar hit me REAL hard.

Maybe I was still reeling from the ending (as I was teary-eyed and everything) but a few lines really made me think of Anders and now this song just strikes me as his theme.  These lines in particular:

And I love you so much
I'm going to let you
Kill me

After the Chantry goes kaboom and I sided with the mages and we were left to decide his fate he says something like "I'm glad it's you" regarding his execution.  Crying face. :[

then it walks,

then it walks with my legs


Anyway, I'm curious: has anyone done a Merrill/Anders romance swap yet?  I haven't read much about Merrill's romance and if it's possible to romance her, dump her and go for someone else.  While I don't really care for her quests and her naivete regarding blood magic, I think some of her dialogue is really cute.  I wouldn't mind my silly neutral Hawke hitting that and then cutting her loose.  I'm going the rivalry path with a couple of people (specifically Merrill and Anders in this playthrough) and I just can't decide who to romance.  I would like to romance Fenris, but... well, like most everyone else in this thread, I find myself hopelessly gravitating towards Anders no matter how hard I try.

Has anyone done this or know if there are comments in party banter?
