So it's a, "See this? All yours for half the price." kind of lean. :P

As soon as the bastard lets me sleep with him! He can't Vengeance-out on a helpless girl soon enough, as far as I'm concerned!

And a pout for the top of the page:

I was referring specifically to the voice acting. Compared to the rest of the conversation, it delivery does sound melodramatic to me. And I enjoy it. And that's really all there is to say.

Rain: You want me to put the staff where?!
Anders: *grin*

How does Anders convince Hawke back to bed? Promise of kinky sex. Works every time. It's like a compulsion.

"I'm upset with you. Really. Wait... you can do what? With what? And that's healthy? Well. I guess we can call truce."

That explains everything! Why else would Hawke let him live after blowing up the Chantry?

Promises of kinky lightning sex, that's why.

My poor Sora, MageHawke, is stuck between these two. And Carver, of course isn't making things easier. I hate it when I end up with a character I can't feel a clear path for, but then again, they make the best rp's as well.

I do find myself however romancing Anders with more non-mages then actual mage pcs. I don't know why but it seems fitting to me to do that way. Anyone else have that kind of problem?

Pretty sure it's not contagious. You have to get it from the source. It's not like some Thedas social disease.

And yet isn't it mentioned to be important to immediately burn the bodies of those infected by the Blight? Why else would that be if not to stop it from spreading?

That's why Seb was so upset.

I think it's a little extreme to say that just because lots of NPCs in the game aren't as grateful as they could be, gratitude is out of the question so it must be a plot hole.

It is a plot hole. I'm not giving Bioware that much credit.

The guy they were going to hack up if you didn't burn them into crispy pieces seemed grateful, though. Maybe saving the person deciding who gets to go in counts for a lot.

Or it's just a hole so that mage characters can make it past the first year.

Also I would like to point out that one seemed to be starting to be affected by the Blight so you really saved all of Kirkwall on your first day

Well if he became a full darkspawn and then infected other and then you know how that works in a social disease way (is that the polite way of saying STD/ Merrill )

Is that a Bethany's robe your Hawke is wearing? Where'd you get it? :D

And I find myself drawn to mages- I don't know why /D I used to be a rouge person.
I get the 'torn between the two' thing as well. Fenris fixed that for me though; bastard dumped me ._.

Speaking of which. Wearing robes has to scream "Hey! I'm a mage!"

When mage Hawke tires to put on armor does it just fall off or something?

You mean because no one says "It's a good thing that guard was so grateful for us saving him from those refugees we killed with magic that he's not going to report us"? If a 'plot hole' can be explained with by common sense two seconds after the question is raised then it's really not a plot hole.

I mean, if Bioware takes the time to have the smuggler and the mercenary promise that you'll be safe from templars while with them and thus explain why the templars don't go after you while you're still a refugee pre-Act 1 then why in the world is it so hard to believe that in the five minutes before you sign on there's a perfectly logical non-fan-****** explanation for why the templars don't go hunting you down?

TThat's why I have a no armour restrictions mod- So my Hawke doesn't stand out so much, and doesn't have to run about in dresses all the time.

I like Anders with a rogue/warrior, too. I like that idea that Hawke chops up any threats to Anders with a pointy weapon. (That's why I love that beautiful wallpaper that was posted way back.)
I also like saving my mages for Fenris- they fill him with RAGE! Posted Image

My Hawke hates pants.

I refuse to play a pants-supporter.

You hit it on the nose, that's why I can't put him with another mage.

It's a plot hole for the first few years until you gain your estate back and even then it's sketchy because as shown with mages like Emile, status does no stop you from joining the circle.. If it was never an issue characters wouldn't comment on your magery like it was something you need to keep quiet. Your whole family shows concern. Anders who runs a clinic is constantly on edge because of this. Nothing about you being a mage adds up in a city that is so tough on people with magic.

Well. you don't have to wear man dresses to not wear pants. I know I kept having a miserable nightmare that I'd show up to the final boss battle having forgotten my pants. Then I woke up and realized it wasn't a nightmare at all.

I dislike Elthina, but I've decided that my Hawke is honoring her when she spares Anders in the end. After all, Elthina herself will say that "Death is never justice" in Act 2, so...

Anders: You're...not going to kill me?
Hawke: I might strangle you later, but I'm not going to kill you now.
Anders: I deserve to die. It would be the just thing.
Hawke: "Death is never justice."
Anders: Wait...you didn't...
Hawke: I did.
Anders: Ironic.
Hawke: And fitting.
Anders: Tell that to Sebastian.
Hawke: I would have, but he'd just need me to tell him how he should feel about it and we have more important things to do.

Besides. Killing Anders at that point would be an act of vengence. Making him work to defend the people he'd endangered with his actions is Justice
