I figure if you sleep with Anders you pretty much just slept with the entire Ferelden Circle of Magi. And then some.

Haha with Anders I can't stop thinking that he's probably got more experience than Hawke will EVER GET. In my mind they have a personal joke with Anders saying :so you prefer I was a sheltered and verginal young templar boy instead?

Haha oh Alistair

This. Anders gets a kick out of the Isabela, Hawke, Zevran threesome. You just know he's been there many many times. :D

I still romance away :D  It's a bit of a tradeoff--Anders is certainly a lot happier and less isolated if he's with Hawke.  He has someone to be with, someone who loves him back in spite of his circumstances.  So he's got more, but I think the reason why he's less stable is because he has so much more to lose if he's in love with Hawke.  Especially if Hawke is also an apostate, protected from Meredith's wrath only by her wealth and status.

Seriously, if I had a nickel for every time I said GODDAMMIT ANDERS I could buy Dragon Age 3 through 42.  Dear Maker.

I didn't think he seemed that crazy when I first friendmanced him, and I didn't think he seemed that crazy when I just friended him, tbh, though the second time through the game I noticed more...personality changes? Like, it seems to me he gets way harsher to the NPCs that he disagrees with as the game goes on. But I am hugely outnumbered when I say that I didn't notice a whole lot of crazy in my first friendmance playthrough (some crazy, yes, but not a whole lot of crazy).

What can I say, I love him crazy anyway. And no, I won't let a little thing like that stop me romancing him. He's too irrestible.

He does say he recognizes you if you import a mage.

He apparently also recognizes an a mage Warden from Orlais too. Either a bug or the boy really gets around. :wizard:

Anders: So? What would you be doing if you weren't a warden?
Warden: You. :innocent:

Lol, I meant the mage Warden. He recognizes them but it's not all "Hey, remember that one time we had a tryst behind that bookshelf? Good times, good times."

My super vain douchey Amell is probably all "I WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH BUT MY COUSIN IS?!" Because he is the douchiest and slept with everyone the game allowed him to. He'd have probably even slept with Shale, given the chance. Awakening was like a slap to the face, lol.

No matter how much we throw our Warden at Anders, alas, there is no success.

Now we can't get him off of Hawke either way.

That kitten army on the last page is adorable. :D Hawke should train them for the revolution.

Alas, poor us- Justice is already spoken for.
What? You mean giving him that lyrium ring in Awakening did not equal a proposal? ;3;
(kidding, kidding.)

So I'm not the only one who thought my Warden's dialogue with Justice sounded flirty? xD They were so adorable together, I made Kaya a clone of that Warden. Kaya and Kaia. Now, that'll be confusing if she ever comes back to claim Justice as her fiance.

The whole thing had a kind of Padme/Anakin dynamic. The whole chantry scene I wanted to scream out "YOU'RE BREAKING MY HEART ANDERS!" and "This is a path I can't follow!".  But its not like he didn't give my Hawke a heads up. The guy delivers.

But my Hawke didn't instantly go into labor with twins and give up on life, she took control and saved Kirkwall instead.

Hawke > Padme

The Kaya Hawke = Padme comparison would only work if Padme had run off with her sith lord boyfriend. Posted Image

I can definitely see it for a friendmance Hawke who didn't approve of blowing up the Chantry and left Anders because of it. I just happen to have a friendmance Hawke who wanted to give him a big Paragon interrupt hug in celebration.

Gratuitous picture here before I trundle off to bed. I've just been paging through my collection of (oh mah gawwwwd) over 3,000 screencaps from my last playthrough... this one I'm rather fond of. If you get Anders to this point in the game, after all, NOT giving him this staff feels like a crime....

Very first time you meet him as a mage in Awakening.

I am sure many a Warden will cry her or himself to sleep in the arms of whoever their lover was... crying over their inability to cheat on them, lol.

You know, in the scene where he shoots the half-naked man tractor beam at Keran, when his back is facing Hawke and he turns around after the spell my mind like, half expected to hear "Err... I didn't do it."

Then I realized.... and I got kinda sad. I'm not even sure why since Awakening Anders wasn't my most favoritest ever, but still. It's not even a remotely similar scene but it had enough echoes that my mind automatically jumped to it. WTF, self.

Yes, yes. Anders, so damn hot XD!!! In my first playthrough (which I was planning to romance Izzy), I accidentally triggered him to kiss me. The pant sound, oh god ... I just could not resist him. So my canon Hawke is a mage romancing Anders (+siding with mages, of course).

As a player, I found Anders sexy as sin in Awakening, and wanted to hit that like the fist of an angry god.  But my Warden actually treated him more like her immature little brother.  She was a lot like Awakening Anders at the start of DA:O, but saving the world tends to mature you pretty quickly.  Of course, she inadvertantly contributed to Anders starting to care about the mage cause so...yeah.

My Warden can enjoy her nice, happy, functional relationship with Alistair while my Hawke and Anders go on their crazypants revolution.  And Maker help me if the two cousins ever meet.

Tee hee. Just started the final bit of the final act and had a great deal of fun giving the finger to Sebastian when he did his "I'll find your precious Anders!" bit. Really, they did a great job of making a character who up until that point had been brutally hot looking, look nostrily and ugly and sneery and... well, worthy of the finger. I only wish my "Do not interfere, Sebastian," could have been "Yeah, bugger off. None of us like you any way," instead.

Waiting till DA3 to see where she ends up :P

Seriously, though, I hope DA3 just leaves my Warden out of the mess.  I know it likely won't, but my Warden just wants to cuddle with Alistair on a beach somewhere after all she's been through.  I'd rather do DA3 with my Hawke, since she's crazypants anyway.  And I feel less bad about screwing her over since she's not exactly a saint.

The whole "WOULD YOU BE WAFFLING" bit... Sigh. Not that I want you to get blown up, Seb, but.... you're pretty low on the list of people who would make me ~waffle~ in making that decision.

God, I wish you could call Seb out in Act 3.  He keeps saying things like "these mages need to be put down" and talking about solidifying the Chantry's hold before he returns to Starkhaven.  He says them to my APOSTATE MALEFICAR Hawke who's sleeping with Anders and has thumbed her nose at the templars at every turn!

And tries to suggest turning Anders and Merrill in to the templars.  Seriously, Seb, you're adorable but dumb as a brick.

This! Seriously. His Act 3 quest was just, meh. He keeps saying how these mages needs to be stopped etc and I just wanted to have the option to say "Yeah Seb, mage over here. Really."

Yeah, my Hawke couldn't stand him so he just didn't talk to him. Didn't care enough to not be neutral with him. Maker this, Andraste that... When he overheard that banter I just imagine Lenox turning around and being like "Wait, so you want to turn in both my boyfriend and my close friend into the templars AND draw attention to the fact that I, as an apostate myself, have been helping and harboring other apostates AND maleficarum? GTFO to Starkhaven already...and take Fenris with you. ******."

Though, to Fenris' credit, he wouldn't cross Hawke that way. My Hawke actually liked Fenris, as much as he wanted to kick him up and down the streets sometime.

What really raised my hackles was his Act 3 banter with Fenris where he's wondering if they should turn Merrill and Anders in to the templars.

You know what Anders says about drowning in blood to keep Hawke safe?  Yeah.  That's small potatoes compared to what my Hawke would've done if any templar touched a hair on Merrill or Anders' heads.  I like Seb, I do, but his lack of genre savvy pains me sometimes.

(And... catching up from last night.)
I have both. Sometimes I just want to wallow in the mud. ^_^

Hubby shaved his near-beard so he's only about 93% Anders-ish now - ew, too clean cut!
The dress shirt and tie he put on today wasn't very wizardy either. :wizard:
