I generated this save just to see King Alistair since my mage elf warden was not about to be dumped just to make him king.  She's a tad selfish in her love, lol.

I'm pretty sure he can't be all those three at once.  And it'd probably be a bad idea for Ferelden .
I do wish Alistair would clone himself so I can get king alistair and GW alistair in one playthrough.  That'd be sweet!

I really liked the moments when Howden's Anders was being snarky, too. He sounded a little more fierce rather than just careless. Fierce like *snap in z-motion* too.

You know, I imported a save where Alistair was exiled and I didn't get drunk pub Alistair.

That's a pity, it was probably my favorite import dialogue-wise.  Everyone just HANGING AROUND talking about their TAINT.

I loved meeting up with him when he was king....when he goes, "Yes, swooping is bad" with a smirk on his face.

AHHH I miss having Alistair in my party. He was hilarious.

On the note of Warden Alistair, does he talk to Anders too? I've only seen Alistair as king and am only in Act 1 of my Warden Alistair import. Despite his weird new face, seeing Alistair again was all the better for a bit of banter with Anders.

Haha.  Okay, so where to start...
My actual import is GW Alistair, but it was bugged and he called the warden a FRIEND.  He was lucky I couldn't slap him.  I now know how to fix that so good thing I messed up canon playthrough anyway and have to redo it.  With the fix, he better say something a lot deeper!

It does look like it's going to be Orlais, my hope is that at least if that happens maybe we'll have BETTER LOOKING ARMOR for once.  Yeah.  It better be sexy!
Ahem, LOL.  I love that some people just went for "Dea", that's actually a nickname my family and friends call me.  (shorter version of my first name).  I love Hamlet, no kicking him in the ass!  He just needed... a bit of... sanity, you know.  At least he was smart enough to try to make sure the spirit was speaking the truth rather than just trusting a spirit.  I know some people who could have used that kind of logical thinking! *ahem*

 I never could bring myself to exile Alistair in a playthrough. Not that it matters since my Xbox refuses to acknowledge my DAO saves as existing at all. First time through I picked the ultimate sacrifice pre-gen ending, so I saw him as king. This time I picked the pre-gen of the dwarf who exiled Alistair and did the Dark Ritual with Morrigan, so I should get to see him in the Hanged Man during Act III, I think. I hope so.
I missed Alistair SO MUCH on my first playthrough. I was all, why is everyone so SAD ??? I missed Alistair with a passion. My second playthrough, I'm a little more resigned, but DAII really could have benefitted from a little more lighthearted humor here and there.

Well, now I know, but I'll get to hear it soon-ish enough (assuming I don't get distracted by warrior Hawke romancing Merrill...).  Is it just me?  I find myself apprehensive about doing my canon with Anders romance because I know once he starts kissing me again I will find it very hard to go to anyone else and do my "must do" canon Fenris romance, and fun times with Merrill and Isabela romances... It's hard enough to resist as it is, ick.

*sigh* I really don't look forward to all French accents.  I was not a fan of Leliana or her DLC.  Alas, it's Dragon Age, I'm fairly certain I'll play no matter what.  Especially if they give me some new hot studs like Anders and Fenris to romance.  Or another Alistair or Zevran, my heart needs a bit of break from DRAMA and some hilarity.  Need some dorky flirt lines!

Hee, Anders! And also? Seeing this vid gave me so much hope! Bann Teagan takes him home to begin again! I could never turn on Alistair in a playthrough and I was always so sad imagining him wandering the countryside drunk and broken. Which makes me wonder what they've got planned for formerly drunk and broken Alistair in DA3.

I know!  The spouse keeps arguing that the next one has to be in Orlais and I'm in denial.  Every single Orlesian in the game is an incredibly annoying wackadoodle.  I'm hoping it's in Nevarra, or that you hop to several countries.

Maybe different things determine if he shows up as a drunk in different times/places? I'd be bloody annoyed if the preset BW included was broken, not to mention all the broken badness with imported games.

In voice actor news, did anyone notice on Adam Howden's Twitter when discussing DA2 how he said he doesn't think we've seen the last of Anders? No idea if he's just guessing or not, but I thought it was interesting.

Seriously? *stomps foot* I looked for him in Act I in there and didn't see him. I'm in Act II now. Maybe I need to take a second look. I'm going to be seriously annoyed if even the presets are broken. I still can't get any official word on why my DAO saves aren't being recognized. That's bad enough on its own.

Speaking of voices, I could stand to hear more of Stroud's. I guess it's Riordan's too? Yes it is. More of him. Hopefully those two aren't important enough in the long run to eliminate that VA's chances of ever playing a major character. One that might have a sidequest of a romantic nature. If you know what I mean. Hint hint.

Re: Zevran, I don't think he looks too bad at all. They did their best to carry over the most Zevranny parts of him. He's rather studly compared to the other elves we see IMO.

Yeah.. they seemed to try to keep him as .... muscular? as Fenris.  Thank God.  I think, in the end, all they did was merge the brige of his nose with his forehead. 

But it was still funny to hear Anders block him.

I don't think I'll import an Exiled Alistair playthough, just because I prefer the idea of his downslide including more compromising of his morals. And anguish. (I love you, Alistair!)

@thenyxie It's possible he could be referring to DLC. I assume that there will be *some* that takes place in the time gaps. But, if he's actually in an expansion or sequel, I will be the happiest.

I so hope this isn't just him speculating. Honestly, if they have any time skip DLC, it would seem weird to me if Anders wasn't at least in that.
