For those who were just made honorary Adam Howden slaves, I mean stalkers, I mean fans.

Wow. He's CUTE. I'd been avoiding looking him up for fear of his real face pushing Anders out of the way.

Yeah, nothing is more depressing than looking up a voice actor and finding out that they're truely a face for radio.

You didn't get the "drown in blood to keep you safe" line?

When does that line happen?

My Mage Hawke romanced Anders right from the beginning and it was Anders who started the flirting, but I can't recall that line :)

I definitely got that line my first play through as a diplomatic rogue that flirted with him from the get go. I remember it because... well, yuck.

I favored the diplomatic option too but I'm pretty sure I didn't discover this line ;)

Is it in some particular quest? Or in a particular response?

I chose snarky. I didn't want to flirt with him either. I'm just poking a little fun at the "Anders always loved you."

He didn't always love my Hawke.

That you know of.

Creepy love shrine is canon.

Did you say something snarky or *red fist!*  to him when you first met him?  Like how Justice is creepy?  Because when I did that on my second run it shot him down until much later when I had a chance to flirt with him later.  But he never iniated before I did the first move

Anders is into Hawke no matter what so i doubt you really ended your chances.

Of course he did... right this moment he is in bed aching for your Hawke.

That said yeah... you will need to flirt with him next time you have a chance to go at it to start the romance.

Well technically you can breeze through the first Act without flirting, then when the second Act rolls around, you only have to flirt with him during his "Questioning Beliefs" quest for him to pretty much jump your bones right there in the clinic...surrounded by his (probably horrified) patients.

And now Anders' manfiesto being in my Hawke's room has gotten creepier. My Hawke needs to run. :crying:

See, this is why it doesn't make sense that it takes 3 years for Hawke to give the guy a key; he's obviously had free access the whole time, why not just make the situation a whole lot less awkward for everyone and give it up right away. I guess abominations don't follow the same rules as vampires. Seriously, can all these monsters just get together and decide on one collective etiquette? I can't keep it all straight.

Creeepy.

My Hawke is gonna make sure Dog is always in the bed. In case that weirdo tries to steal his underwear.

Yeah Hawke defintely is going to sleep with Dog guarding the bed. And tell people not to open the oors since they let everyone and their mother right in. <_<

No way.  The only thing Anders ever talks about healing are STDs, so I think his patients were probably leering and perving all over them.

The key is to the cellar right by Anders' clinic.
That way if the templars show up, he has a quick escape.

(Think Birthright quest...when you enter the cellar entrance right by the clinic, which leads to your estate? Basically, Hawke is giving him the key to THAT.)

On the subject of the title.

...Anders doesn't seem at all attracted to my single Hawke. Not in the least bit. No flirting no jealous remarks...absolutely nothing.

I guess he only loves Hawke when Hawke's with someone?

Maybe the presence of other love interests impedes his plan of stealing your undergarmets for his disturbing love shrine and he becomes unable to contain himself. Otherwise, he creeps in private.

You know... I do believe we're the only ones who actually make fun of our own LI.  I mean we have to... he IS nuts... but somehow, I think Anders would approve.  He certainly seems to like Snarky Hawke deflating his ego.

I'd say we have to make fun of him so we don't cry, but then I remember TONS of making fun of Alistair going on back in the day, too. All done with love, of course. One of my favorites was always how your Warden could sleep w/ Callum even if you and Alistair were romantically involved, and he just... says nothing.

Me: Come, Callum, let me educate you privately about what a woman really wants.
Callum: Okay.
(Presently)
Morrigan: You are a wicked woman, truly. I approve.
Leliana: How terrible of you! That poor boy!
Callum: You're a bad, bad person.
Alistair: Has anyone seen my hair gel?
Me: ...
Alistair: What? My hair is sticking to my forehead. Makes it itch something terrible.

I haven't played DAII enough times to have these sorts of exchanges in my head with Anders. Yet. But they're coming eventually. :)

LMAO

You just give him the key to the cellar. I just pretend you gave him thekey to the mansion years ago.

Imagine being a small child in that clinic...on that day.
And Anders just starts snogging some random man who walked in less than five minutes ago.
LMFAO...priceless.

The original Alistair gush thread was pretty much troll proof because so many of us tortured him on our own. Being made to run around in nothing but the Thane Helmet and a smile was the least of his concerns.

*misses being able to make Anders fight naked at will*

Not going to lie, but from Awakening, I was already expecting Anders to be a walking STD. Syphillis, herpes, and crabs included. >_<

I was only on the Alistair thread in the last few months.  Not enough making fun of him, IMHO.

But you have to make fun... you're right... a) He likes it.  B) Tears are not an option.:wizard:

That's what I think, too.

Hawke gives him the key to the cellar to quiet his fears about the Templars, but probably the key to the mansion was given years before...

Also, sorry to insist but I'm really curious... what do I have to do to get the "drown in blood" line? :D
