I was thinking Tevinter Imperium for my Hawke and Anders as well.

It just adds a new layer of deliciousness to the bitter hatred between Fenris and Anders.  And listening to them snap at each other fills me with EVIL GLEE.

I'm pretty much an Anders fangirl.... Worked through a romance with Fenris just to see how it is, but will not do so again (although I must say I didn't have any real complaints about the actual romance, aside from the him not being Anders)

LIke you, I also can't bring myself to do anything with Isabela... I see her as more of a BFFs with my Hawke than anything. 

I think I'd like to try the Merrill romance, but her character makes me very angry at times, so it would have to be a rivalmance. 

Once that's done (IF it gets done, I've put in 120 hours into DA2 as of this moment, or so Steam tells me, so I'm a bit tired) I don't plan to repeat anyone's romance but Anders.

As for sleeping around, my first Hawke was Anders-only, my second Hawke took the Isabella sidedish then went with Merril, and awesome kiss in the clinic aside, third Hawke has stuck with Fenris, even though Anders totally positioned himself perfectly as a rebound. Fourth Hawke, who knows? I do like to flirt with different characters, but I don't uuuuusually sleep around, unless I am specifically playing a character that would do such a thing (like ... all my human nobles? Gigantic ****s. For some reason.).

No, seriously, amongst the many bugs the game had, I wasn't aware of Anders specific ones!

I think this is a reference to being able to get Anders to side with Templars at 100% rivalry that either was cut from game or is bugged ATM.

Without judgement in how IC or OOC it is he can side with the templars (according to Ms. Hepler). I get a lot of the dialogue that should lead up to it (him admitting Hawke was right. Justice is taking over him, yadda yadda). But I never actually get the choice for him to side with the templars (or even acknowledgement of Justice taking him over in endgame).

Don't mistake me. I like the emotional train-wreck as much as the next guy. I like that there's struggle.

Deep inside, though, I also like to think that my hawke would stop in front of nothing to save Anders, and this, in my mind, means find a way to separate Vengeance from him.

If they're going to die, I want it to be epic, not having him collapse by the side of the road as the taint slowly kills him, leaving Hawke all alone to figure out what to do with the mess she's made of her life.

I'd like to try the rivalmance someday so maybe I'll wait to see if this is indeed a bug or more a case of cut content.

And I can't get his canon ending because of a bug.

Ah well. I'll stick with Firestorm Hawke for now.
And before I even hear it yes I named one of my Hawkes Firestorm. Named that because lightning set a bunch of nearby crops on fire on his birthday.

I am SO not up for the whole threesome/foursome thing, so DON'T GET ANY IDEAS!

I did Isabela, but told her it was just for fun. Needless to say, I stopped frequenting the Hanged Man when I started falling for Merrill.

On my current character, I'm pretty much Anders all the way. My gay mage will likely focus on Fenris as well.
