Oh gawds. Scratch that, I obviously never found the robes of the overseer. I just looked them up, I would look like Petrice. ICK. Oh gawds, no. I hate that woman, just hate.

Aw, now me, I felt amused by the sacreligiousness of it all. Of course, I was a MANHAWKE.

I never hear any lines on the rare occassion my Hawke dies. She's usually the last one to fall.

Ohhohoho, that would be a great conversation!

Malcolm: ::crosses arms:: Just so you know, Anders, I was a Circle mage myself for a while.  I know all the tricks.
Anders: Uh, tricks, sir?
Malcolm: All the devious tricks you have to sneak around and get laid without getting caught.  I know them.
Anders: But--
Malcolm: Don't even try to magic your way into my little girl's bedroom.  I'll know, and I'll flip your organs inside-out.
Anders: Sir, your daughter and I are well into our twenties.  I think we can make our own decisions.
Malcolm: I don't care.  I will put your balls into a crushing prison if I catch you even looking at her inappropriately.
Leandra: ::smacks Malcolm in the back of the head:: Oh hush, we wouldn't even have those children if you weren't so adept at magic-ing your way into a girl's bed.

I want to read or write Malcolm and Leandra fanfic so baaaaad!

That's adorable. I want to know more about Malcolm. He sounds awesome based on what everyone else says about him. And he would have escaped from mage prison.

He so totally would have.
Them Hawkes- they aim to misbehave.
The mental image I have of him is of someone absurdly cool, until he gets within proximity of his children. At which point, he devolves into a cooing mass of parental instinct. Kind of like the cat proximity chart.
He used to play 'aeroplane' with Hawke. And give rides on his shoulders. There is no convincing me otherwise.

Mmmm ManHawke in chantry robes.

I'm sure Anders got a kick out of that in the bedroom.

That is the most heartbreaking delivery ever. Sorry Anders, you'll have to suffer watching Hawke die a few more times just to hear the utter depair and heartbreak in your beautiful, beautiful voice. The desperation is too delicious.

The delivery of that line is seriously fantastic.  He sounds so shrill and desperate; it's amazing.  I think the voice director must have been threatening to murder Howden's puppy or something.

I can't picture Malcolm Hawke as anything less than the most badass, charming, roguishly sexy, and all-around awesome dude to ever live.

Director: We killed your dog.
Howden: WHAT?!
Director: Yup. Here's the body.
Howden: NO! DON'T BE DEAD! PLEASE!
Director: Perfect! We got it, people!

....but no, in all seriousness, Howden's entire performance as Anders was amazing. He was such a well-written, well-performed character, and I loved every minute of it!

Sadly, I never got that line, because both Anders and I were super-healer-slash-support type mages, so no one ever fell in battle ever. There really should have been an achievement for our collective awesome!

(No dogs were harmed in the making of this comment.)

LOL

I love how those robes just... hug his waist. Gives him a nice hourglass figure.

Nate/Hawke/Anders is my OT3

How cute! :D I can totally see Malcolm playing with Kaya, and Carver being really jealous. No wonder Kaya thinks Anders escaping from the Circle is cool. Daddy was her role model.

Whereas Fenris sounds more like you're trying to beat his Angry Birds high score.

God, that just made me crack the hell up. I think probably because I can actually picture Fenris being crabby over such a thing.

Poor Carver. He is the butt of every joke. XD
Of course, all this pent-up resentment is just the result of a lifetime spent trying to keep his sisters from getting themselves killed.
"Come on, Carver, let's go play in the spider cave!"
"Watch me climb this ridiculously high and possibly rotting tree, Carver!"
And so forth.
Oh, big brother/sister was a hellion as a child. Troo fax.

Yeah, I defintily have A LOT of love for Fenris' voice. It has definitly swayed me away from Anders more than a few times.

But this time, Anders definitly wins.

Anders: You were never good enough for Hawke.
Fenris: And how are you any better, abomination?
Anders: Remember that time Hawke was on that brink of death and all you could think to coldly mutter was "No, I will not allow it!" Please, I sound much more desperate and heartbroken, which proves I am more worthy of Hawke's love than you will ever be.
Fenris: ::snarls:: Shut your mouth, mage.

Even Fenris cannot deny the win.

Don't worry so much Anders, I'm the PC. I have plot armor.

sooo never heard this in any playthrough when I died :(  Is it on PC only or am I just unlucky - I'm playing on the 360 though it's almost worth stealing my hubbies PC version for this if it's only on pc lol.

Never got the anguished cry myself. Not because I wasn't dying, but because there are certain conditions, I think. I believe you have to switch to Anders when your character dies. Or so I've heard.

I think it only happens in Act 3? In Act 2 all I got were a bunch of "DON'T YOU DARE"s. Also, Varric kept calling Anders "whatshisname, the mage".

hmmm k will have to experiment on this playthrough. Just finishing act 1 so have a way to go yet.  And do you need to switch to Anders as someone mentioned or does he just say it?

Ok I'm so late to the punch here, but whoever posted the Twix commercial, darn you, I almost fell out of my chair. And now every time I see Anders I'm going to think of a Twix bar.

Or snicker every time I pass the vending machine at work...

I honest to god don't know what to think of that twix commercial.

Just.. No. Nothing.

Just started with a look of "what is this I don't even.." to a hysterical fit of laughing.

Honestly I felt like Ander's was never in it to win it. There was no real romance I felt. Sure he comes to stay with you but I never felt his connection. It was always serious and he always had a more important agenda than love---> he says so himself!!

The line I was seriously hoping for in this game was a line directed at both him and Justice... I uh kinda fell in love with Justice in Awakenings, there was just something so right about him, so when Anders said that he met him and they ended up being one and the same I was so excited.... The line would be from Hawke saying, "I accept both of you, that's what love is, you and Justice are mine," or something along that line.

Sorry I really get into the romance portion of the game. And why in the world do we never get to see some of the guys skin? I mean we get to see Keran (Enemies Amoungst Us Quest) with his shirt off!!! Honestly I was hoping for so much more!!

P.S: I'll never love anyone like Alistair though!!! NEVER!!!
