The line I was seriously hoping for in this game was a line directed at both him and Justice... I uh kinda fell in love with Justice in Awakenings, there was just something so right about him, so when Anders said that he met him and they ended up being one and the same I was so excited.... The line would be from Hawke saying, "I accept both of you, that's what love is, you and Justice are mine," or something along that line.

Sorry I really get into the romance portion of the game. And why in the world do we never get to see some of the guys skin? I mean we get to see Keran (Enemies Amoungst Us Quest) with his shirt off!!! Honestly I was hoping for so much more!!

P.S: I'll never love anyone like Alistair though!!! NEVER!!!

That would mean having to make both two different models for Fenris and Anders; tattoos for Fen and a skinnier male body for Anders. I did see a post by Word of God somewhere about how he wanted Fenris to be shirtless after the love scene, but then that'd mean something would have to be cut. I suspect the same for Anders.

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I've always thought the fact that someone loved something more than just the person they loved, something like a cause or a desire to do good or something like that, wasn't a bad thing.

I mean. That's the sort of person I want to be and the sort of person I want to end up with. Not Anders, mind, he's nuts and I like boring folks. But someone who doesn't see "us" as the most important thing in the world.

@Kawamura I absolutely agree. I love the fact that Anders acknowledges that there is something greater than twu wuv, because truly, in the world, that is ALWAYS the case. Usually it's something boring and mundane like getting enough to eat or money or something though, so a wizard rebellion against repression is totally ok with me .

I wanna be a doctor. I've already made a lot of decisions that -- didn't exactly work out romantically because my childhood dream/want to help people is more important than love. It's a different kind of selfishness, I think, but I've always wanted my SO to know that there's sometihng more important than them and I understand that there's something than me. And if there isn't, we need to rethink things.

IDK. I suck at romance, though.

I'm kinda sad, I just finshed the Rivalmance ending siding with the Templars. Full rivalry and I pretty much hated on Justice every chance I got. I think it may have bugged? I never got a chance to persuade him to join me like I did with Merrill.

I think I've also decided that I don't like rivalmance, it's a liiiiiitttle too screwed up for me. Fenris rivalmance for me was hot hot UST, Anders turned more into angst /wrists.

Friendmance wins out in my game. I can deal with JusticeAnders. At least he's passionate and dedicated and not a giant ball of wangst.

There's no room for love?

When did that come up? Human beings are amazingly wide on the inside. The human heart has room for a lot of emotions. I often see that a lot of people have a lot of big emotions in 'em and they often don't run out of room. Of course, the gravity of 'em all starts to warp things, but that's something else.

I guess from playing Awakening I just realized how different Anders is. God I miss the old him so much, I mean he used to be sarcastic and sexy and just plain awesome! One thing I remembered him saying was, "I just want a pretty girl, a decent meal, and the right to shoot lightning at fools," I couldnt stop laughing. I'm not laughing now though. Not when he has so much blood on his hands.... poor Anders. </3

I've read a lot of people saying that they can't get Anders to go Templar.

I'm rivalmancing him on my current playthrough. I friended him on my first run, and I didn't much care for him at all. Too whiny. I haven't done enough to get a feel for his rival path though... I'm still in Act I.

I really thought Anders was going to be my main romance in DA2. I don't usually go for the White Haired Prettyboy, but Fenris just...gah. He goes to Hawke for help, but only very grudgingly.

Anders IS whiny. He's just all 'O Haaaawwwwkeeeee, I merged with Fade spirit but I did it for a friend, bad stuff shouldn't possibly have happened, waaaaaaaaaaaahhh'  :crying::crying:

I think that would work for all of my Hawkes, trying out daredevil stunts and making Carver all worried. He must have hated the family visits from my Kane Amell more than anything though.

Kane: Where? *concentration broken, drops Carver*

And so his resentment towards mages begins.

Justice was always one of my favorites. He probably is the favorite, if I had to choose just one (hard to choose between Awakening Justice and Anders/Justice though). My Kaya Hawke loves both of them too, so a line similar to that would have been appropriate for her.

Being a mage probably did taint it, as when I was friendmancing him as a warrior, he just seemed to think I was awesome, but not like ... Conrad levels of awesome. Probably because he didn't also see me as a SHINING BEACON OF APOSTATE MAGE HOPE, which is what he pretty much called my mage ManHawke (who he was not in a romance with). He just thought I was a cool lady who was cool with mages, and that was cool.

God this so much. I was pretty much like  at the whole Apostate thing. Never again will I friendmance Anders. Never. Especially not with a mage.

That's a good point, I friendmanced him on my rogue. Based off how he treats a rival mage I can only imagine the worshipfulness of a mage. Ew.

Don't get me wrong, I still really like Anders as a character, just not as a romance for (most) of my Hawkes now. If I'm not trying to sleep with him I find him totally awesome, I mean a spirit of Justice out for Vengeance? Let the fireworks begin. *cough*

I'll friendmance him again, probably, but not as a mage. My mages will just look uncomfortable when he's all ZOMG ALL MAGES TOTES WANT TO BE YOU because hoooo that is just a little too TOO. But Anders is all about being too TOO, so it's all good. I can't see me rivaling him as a mage, even my "Screw demons AND spirits, seriously" mage was BFFs with Anders.
