 Okay, so I have a real question about Anders. During the scene when he comes to Hawke's house at night for sexytime, he puts his hand to her cheek when he goes in for the kiss. His hand gets a blue, glowy, misty aura around it. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me at first, but it's there every time I watch the scene.

Is he just that excited, that his mana just starts overflowing? Or is he actually purposefully manifesting some kind of passionate-kiss-magic? Or is that Justice, trying one last time to stop him?

I don't think it has anything to do with Justice. It doesn't look much like when Justice usually manifests. I always figured it was just some sexy time magic- either intentional or not.

I will try to be an adult and not make a joke about his mana overflowing from excitement.

The line he says when he's doing it is "No mage I know of has ever dared fall in love."  It's his personal acknowledgement of his love for Hawke, and all the rules he's breaking to show it.

Yeah, in my head it was more a "magic flowing unbidden because feelings are just that strong" thing...but whatever works I suppose. I even thought of the "Justice, shut up" possibility, but I prefer the more romantic one xD Some kind of soothing magic...

I see what looks like a wisp of smoke, but no blue glow. Huh. Never noticed that before. I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean.

Oh trust me, I was tempted. Only my inability to think of decent 'A' names stopped me.
...Also if I had, I don't think I could have stopped myself from calling Carver 'Carmine'. >.>
And I just got this mental image of abandoned!Carver revolving slowly in midair, arms flailing, until Dad went out and got him down. XD

My best guess is- well, Isabela did say he uses magic in... ahem, intimate situations. So yes. He's probably doing that deliberately.

I have Adelynne and Dominic Hawke. So, in a magical world where both of them existed, it would be ABCD. Hmm, that means I'll need an 'E' name if I continue this trend. Although, Dominic was less intentional but hilarious now that I think of the implications.

Originally my Hawke was named Adeline because I liked the name. Then I got into the game and felt dumb whenever Aveline was around. But I had already made up a cute scene in my head involving Anders thinking up a nickname for her, so I had to keep it with a slight tweek for my replay.

I ADORE tender, sweet, loving Anders.  Passionate kisses are great, but just the gentleness and affection with which he treats Hawke in the romance scene melts my heart every time.

Haha, aww  Decent A names are rare! Or they just don't suit Hawke. I've wanted to name a char Alice since DAO, but couldn't (Alis-tair), now I finally got one
