I just finished my first playthrough.
Oh my god.
Mhmm ;~;
This reminded me, Justice had some really sweet dialogue in Awakening about trying to understand emotion. I can't remember his words though (been too long since my Awakening playthrough). I guess he's too focused on revenge right now for any of that?
I wonder about how Anders' and Justice's connection works too, but I'm not that far into the game, so I probably don't have all the information - just the obvious stuff that I knew before. Are Anders and Justice separate in the Fade, or does Justice take over? I would assume separate because he doesn't need to possess anyone to exist on his own in the Fade...
**Ambiguously spoilery response here**
I'm-- still not really clear (I think I'll just peg this on denial for now) on how Anders/Justice/Vengeance coexist(only because of the way Anders refers to Justice/Vengeance later on, though he's not exactly mentally stable, which could be the reason in itself). Events in DA2 where Justice(Vengeance) is involved directly indicate that he's definitely ...changed.
To answer your question about the Fade, however; Justice/Vengeance takes over (IE it's Anders with glowy eyes), either because they didn't want to (re)create a generic(or unique)-fade-spirit, or to further enforce that Anders and Justice are one being, mostly indistinguishable and inseparable.
[...]...oh, this is going to end in horrible tragedy. I just know it.
I don't really care what anyone says about the DA2 story - the climax pretty much had my brain at
what is this I don't even so hard that I got up and made myself tea so I could think straight again. In a good way!
