Aside from that though there's plenty of evidence that actually supports his paranoia as other people have pointed out,

Wade and Herren for DA 3!
Playing these two games at the same time is so weird.
Awakening has Oghren calling Anders "sparkfingers" and "manskirt wearing freak," Nate asking in a weary, irritated voice "What is your point, Anders?" Ser Pounce-a-lot, along with Anders a) hitting on Mhairi, Sigrun, Velanna, and probably other people I forgot,
DA 2 has ANGST and TRAGEDY and it's all awesome but also depressing.

Heh. I feel like I'm in an endless loop during the end of Dragon Quest VIII where I keep trying to refuse to take the princess hand but the game won't let me!
I swear I pressed "No" like 40 times before giving up. XD I am nothing if not persistant.
I mean...ugh. Would've made more sense to keep Leandra alive so there's actually a reason for Hawke to stay. As of now it looks ridculous. Especially considering you can tell Varric you're considering going back to Fereldan. I'm rich now! What exactly is stopping me from leaving demon infested land and living it up with sane folks?
I guess everytime Hawke packed their bags their clothes and money would mysteriously vanish so they were forced to stay inside the mansion. Poor thing.

I mean, they turned his tranquil solution down, but was anyone going to stop him from turning women tranquil and sleeping with them?
ICK. So ick.
He's also the same templar responsible for making Karl tranquil. As soon as I heard that, I was already all up on his grill ready to cut a b****.
Clearly not a character you can defend...at all.

It's silly how people still continue to use Awakening as ABSOLUTE, UNDENIABLE, INCONTESTIBLE proof that's he's straight. He could've been attracted to men, but wasn't at a point where he has accepted it. Because god forbid, a person can't be gay or bisexual unless they're seen dry humping another person of the same sex, but when it's a straight character, people move on and stop giving a sh*t.

Don't get me started on AC. The assassin tombs in it made me weep. I didn't think a game could put that much detail into a catherdral.

Actually, when you finish killing the templars in the chantry right before the Karl De-Tranquiled Cutscene kicks in you can raid the LT. Templars corpse, gotta do it fast though, and read his letter from Sir Alrik. It's a fair depiction of what an utter jackass he truly is.<_<

And the forced killing/losing of your family really sucked. Frankly my Hawkes would've left Kirkwall at the end of act 2. By then they were just done. Alas. Plot demands I stay in the demon infested hellhole for another 3 years even when I have nothing keeping me there. <_<
That was one of my biggest annoyances: everyone making Hawke try to choose between calling Ferelden home and calling Kirkwall home. As someone who moved around a lot as a kid (six schools in as many years, woo), even having grown up to stick in one place for a few years, I don't call it home. It's just where I happen to live right now due to a confluence of circumstances.
I... really can't see Hawke that attached to Kirkwall, where so many awful things have happened to her, especially after only seven years out of thirty or so. And just because she was born in Ferelden doesn't mean Hawke has to have some sort of deep spiritual connection to it.
Probably why I like the ending with her and Anders on Izzy's party boat: "**** it, let's go to Antiva! No, wait-- Rivain! Woo!"

I miss the portraits.
I wanted to give my hawke the "derp" face of the expressions in the portraits.
And Idk, i figure Hawke would be pretty buff, in a stringy sort of way (like a bad steak!) He probably hits things instead of uses magic. That was my thought. Because, seriously, with torque, it doesn't take much strength to hurt things. That's why we're on top of the food chain: sticks with heavy or sharp things on the end we can hit **** with.

Yeah elf girl can stay. I need someone to cook. My Hawke can't cook to save his life. And Sandal and Bodahn can just leave early. Sandal did want to go back to Fereldan didn't he?
Ugh. Devs didn't think that one through.
My head canon is that my Hawke was done after mom died. Gave the mansion to Gamlen and told him not to screw up again before packing some bags and hightailing it out of there.
All that nonsense with Templars and Mages? My Hawke didn't give a hoot. He was gone.

I am telling you, I wanted to pack up Anders, Fenris and everyone else, BUY a ship (why did we need to make a deal with a douchebag for a ship for Isabela when Hawke can afford one)... and get the hell out of there.
Go find the warden or something. Or simply just go.
And why didn't anyone try to step up to become viscount in 3 years? The templars and chantry have gone mad with the power. lol

Yeah, that's why I ultimately had to write my own version of the ending in a fanfic. Never written one before but the game left me feeling there could have been more. There wasn't enough tears, gnashing of teeth etc. It just was. Steered by the way the developers wanted it.

Ah. I've lived in my home for about...15 years now. So it's hard not to consider it home.

Yeah I can't see Hawke attached to Kirkwall either. It's a terrible place. The best thing to happen to my Hawke there was getting rich. And even that had a bucketload of bad things attached to it.
I don't think it as being born in Fereldan as much as growing up there. I'll always have a special place in my heart for my childhood home. I spent almost all of my life there.
I can't get on Izzy's boat because she keeps betraing me. GAH.
