Even in Awakening, he never let anyone close.  He just used humor to deflect people instead of DA2's surliness.  I got the definite impression that he and Oghren were friends, though.  (Yes, friends who seemed to mess with each other far more than be nice, but friends all the same.)

He seemed to be pretty friendly with Bethany. Until she dies/gets taken by the circle/joins the wardens.

I would love to see how Sebastian and Oghren interacted though. Can you say bar brawl?

The closest I have to crazy is my Leo who wants to stomp all over his LI's inviduality and make them his puppet. Other than that the rest of them are pretty mellow.

LOL.  My most insane Hawke is a blood mage and she has a total crush on Anders, it's completely unhealthy and insane.
And then she beds Fenris because angry grrr sex is hot and they can talk about killing slavers together.  Yes, the way into a blood mage's heart is to talk about crushing hearts from the inside out.

She's insane. Certifiably.

My Hawke's name is Lucius (Lew-See-Us), and he has creepy grey eyes and slicked back dark red hair.
He attracts all the crazies, too. No worries.

Isabela IS pretty much the sanest choice. She's a positive paragon of stability compared to the other options. Her problems boil down to "kinda selfish, minor trust issues". And then you look at Anders and Merrill... oh boy.

Personally, if I were a LI I'd stay away from Hawke because he is far more likely to get himself killed than me. After all, most companions don't see half the things he gets up to while they're sitting around at home, they just get to hear the outlandish stories about the giant spiders, ogres, summoned ancient evils and that one time he found this dude's pants and returned them.

Shorter guys are like, yukidama squee fodder, which is why I was so dead set on Varric... my heart is still broken, btw. Even more broken then before. I'LL NEVER GET OVER IT.

I like Carver being taller (not by much, maybe like an inch or two) so he can feel better about himself. And then worse when his shorter, older brother gives him verbal smackdowns over how much of a dick he's being. Good times, man. Good times.

Fenris...is somewhat close to a sane romance. He doesn't backstab you at least.

I feel so bad for my good guys.

I'm going to toss a complete nonsequiter out there and hope nobody flames me for it. But if they do, no harm done. Still loving Anders, even if his costume does baffle me.

The question is this: Why does Anders wear bandages around his various limbs. He isn't injured. I make sure of that. But every time I take him out to play, he's got his wrists and knee all wrapped up. Old sports injuries?

Seeing as how his family is from the Anderfells, he's probably tall (except that DA2 doesn't have height sliders, so no tall guys), so I could understand the knee. Tall people have a predisposition to bad knees. But why the forearms?

Thoughts? Or do I just need to lay off the late-night cheese?

How stable Fenris is depends. If you interpret Danarius's little "the boy is quite skilled" comment in that way, I can see that relationship being... dysfunctional. Especially if you're another male human mage. That's one giant opportunity for resentment. He's one angry fellow no matter what.

Isabela is just chillaxin all day.

I dunno. I suspect there's something unhealthy about a guy that sleeps with you once and then wears your house crest on his waist for the next three years while refusing to talk about what happened. People talk about Anders being creepy, but at least the dude is upfront.

I like the girl being shorter/smaller in my relationships, both fictional and real.  That's why I had to pair up Zevran with my Brosca.  

It's also why I'm frighteningly fixated on the idea of Carver getting with an elf.  I'm a Carver/Tabris shipper.

I love Anders being a tall, rangy guy.  It's sexy.
