Why waste your time when you know you're going to be dragged back to the circle eventually?. But there is Namaya, I guess. We know how that ended.

The question is this: Why does Anders wear bandages around his various limbs. He isn't injured. I make sure of that. But every time I take him out to play, he's got his wrists and knee all wrapped up. Old sports injuries?

Seeing as how his family is from the Anderfells, he's probably tall (except that DA2 doesn't have height sliders, so no tall guys), so I could understand the knee. Tall people have a predisposition to bad knees. But why the forearms?

Thoughts? Or do I just need to lay off the late-night cheese?

They're not for him.  They are at the ready for when Hawke needs saving.
Also, he doesn't wear a man-purse, where do you expect him to stash bandages???

I don't think so. Even interpreting that way why would Fenris go to Hawke. He went to Hawke that night not the other way around. Nothing about it seemed to be in self hatred. 

As for Izzy. My characters can't stand her. (Or at best see her as just an associate). Then again most of my PC's are either asexual, want someone they really shouldn't, or head for Fen/Anders. 

...Which probably would fall under someone they really shouldn't.

I dunno. I suspect there's something unhealthy about a guy that sleeps with you once and then wears your house crest on his waist for the next three years while refusing to talk about what happened. People talk about Anders being creepy, but at least the dude is upfront.

I'm the opposite. If there had been male dwarves to romance, I'd romance them all as a girl. Never woulda romanced anyone else who am I kidding I love my gay man too much. I love tall girls and short guys. FENRIS HAD POTENTIAL BUT THEN HE HAD TO GET TALL SO WHATEVER, NO GIRLS FOR YOU. So I have to make up for this tragedy the only way I can, with delusions and denial. Tall Anders pleases me, as does giving him a shorter boyfriend lolol.

Carver should have gotten with Merrill, I'd have supported him. Maybe he'd have stopped complaining about me overshadowing him if he was busy with other things >.>

The gifts suck so badly in rivalmance.  Cause my Hawkette and him agree on everything about slavers and wanting roots (aggressive Hawke is a secret softie inside that is all GRRR ARRG to hide it and such)... so most conversations are rather nice, unless they're talking about mages.  Then it's ARG, I hate youuuuu but I love youuuuu.  lol
But the gifts... just... omg, calm down, Fenris.  It's just a gift, I'm not that evil to be meaning anything untoward!

It NEVER ceases to amuse me whenever I watch the Fenris and Hawke make out scenes and Hawke's bending his knees to be at level with him.

I liked Kaidan. He was sane and awesome. Izzy...not so much to me. I don't now. I feel like she's just...something about her strikes me as fake. I like my sane characters mellow and chillaxed. Varric, Aveline, Kaidan, Bethany. Ashley (to an extent).

I'm sure they're not exactly the same height. I just don't think either of them have ever done that, butt to butt thing and had Bodhan on a step ladder check with a straight edge.

I don't understand what exactly is that supposed to mean. 

Fakeness being necessary? I don't know. Personally I dislike pretenders strongly. I rather have a unhealthy relationship and know where I stand than a "healthy" one (if you can call it that) with someone lying to me. Especially with them wearing a mask. Because it begins to beg the question who exactly am I in love with? The person? Or that mask? 

Edit: Then again this is all invidiual tastes. It's the same reason I can't lie to Gamlen about what happened to Leandra. I don't lie unless I'm either bored or want to screw with someone. (Or  I'm trying to peddle money/good off of them)

I've only done half of it, but from what I've seen the Merrill rivalmance isn't so bad. You don't have to be cruel and hurt her feelings (except for the arulin'holm), she stops the blood magic, and she's still totally sweet.

ROFL. I wasn't romancing him but that's pretty much exactly what he did when I rivaled him. And then I made him equip the sword anyway.
