As for getting rid of Fen's points with slavers I just rivaled him with good guy Hawke. Who always gave peoplea chance to put down the weapons before battle. Oh god Fenris couldn't stand him.  

I went OOC on the slavers thing and made a deal with them through Varric.  I felt dirty.
Hawke was extra hard ass on everyone after that to make up for it.  And I think she went all "I will kill you" on many a conversation.

I justified letting Varric deal with them with wanting to keep Feynriel alive.

lol I love Varric's bullstory. 

Though don't think the bullstory gives you any rivalry points. You have to try to compromise with Hawke him/herself.

Nope. I have several Hawkes. Most are mages but Mostromance Fenris. My rogue and warrior are for Anders. 

I might have to give him a mage though. A douche mage that he can fanboy over.

Trying to rival him was kind of fun.

Something akin to Fenris' red ribbon around the wrist would of been nice. Something small but acknowledging Hawke in Act II. He is trying to push away from Hawke more and more after his costume does change in Act III, I would of liked seeing whatever he wore for Hawke disappear then. That would of hit a little harder than the "... Are you going to die today? Am I?" black clothes.

Oh this would've made me feel sucker punched. 

But it would've been wonderful. 

Still I have to admit I love rivalmancing Anders for his little manifesto speech it's adorable.

Yeah, that doesn't excuse the deal I made in Darktown though.  I was very disappointed because the hard-ass response there was so full of awesome.
I then got over myself and stopped getting agitated over 10 friendship here and there.

Well, aggressive Hawke would have gone for "you die, biatches" and that gives friendship points.
Letting Varric talk doesn't give anything, that's the point, LOL, but felt so OOC for aggressive Hawke who pretty much threatens most people and is very eager to kill.

Nah I do tend to refer to my Hawkes as me sometimes but I mean Hawke. I say me and I because it's easier and faster to type.

That's true. My Hawkes are...erm, let's just say they like teh sexytimes. But still, I thought the whole convo with Elthina saying that Seb shouldn't enter chantries from the backdoor was meant to be some sort of innuendo XD

I still got flirt options with Seb, and my Hawkes are CONSTANTLY flirting with everybody.  Hell, I even got flirt options after Anders moved in with Hawke.  It's worth noting that the flirt options never went anywhere, though (less than usual, I mean).  The last flirt option I got seemed to lead to his "Anders is dangerous" conversation, and there was never any talk of Sebastian being interested in Hawke.
