Bah. I want to see that. It's a rival only option though, right?

I'll go load up my other one and see if I still can.

I love the conversation with Carver after you do the whole Birthright quest. He gets told so badly and then when he's all "Brother...." I am like askjdjsakfdf you are such a dick but come here let me give you a noogie.
I let him become a Warden. I was surprised on my first playthrough when Anders volunteered to find the Wardens even though he was paranoid about them dragging him back. ;~;

Yeah, can't get that dialogue on my friend playthrough. Not sure if that's because I have friendship with him or because I was publically anti-templar and Cullen's all pissy with me, though.ipgd wrote...

@Yuki Stroud says something about them being "even" after he saves your sibling. I wonder what Anders did for him? *eyebrow waggle*
That 'stache on Stroud is pretty epic.

I was so wrapped up the one time I had Carver join the templars that I can't even recall what it was like. GW Bethany was disappointing at first, dead Carver is just sad but poignant. Hawke lost her brother, Varric lost his brother (that's what happens when Anders is not present to save the day!)... and they both ganged up on Fenris to convince him not to kill his sister.

Oh man, doing the Nathaniel quest with a GW'd Bethany was pretty much the first thing to crack my flippant, IDGAF sarcastic rogue's facade since her mother died. the way her little sister acted was so sad.
I know that people think Bethany is bland and boring, but I really love her. She's playful and mischievous (she's the one that comes up with the idea to break into the estate, after all), and as a GW she becomes a real hardass.
If I didn't want to keep him all for my Hawke, I would totally ship Anders/Bethany.
I didn't know Bethany showed up for that quest as a GW. Is there a video of it somewhere?Threeparts wrote...

Oh wow. Never got that with Carver. I always took Anders with me during the Deep Roads expedition. Some of the stuff he said is actually douche-baggy. Maybe it's cause the Grey Warden path always makes him calm the hell down. I especially d'awwwed at their broship (is this possible with brothers?) moments in the Gallows.![]()
Yeah GW Carver is pretty epic.
Templar Carver makes me wanna kick him. At least he has a big damn heroes moment near endgame though.

Watching it right now.
"You'll have to go through me", then followed by Cullen's "and me".
Holy sh--, freaking FIERCE right there.
Somehow, I want that patch for Anders fixed now, for that scene. Plus, he gets to say "and now she's lost it".
On a sidenote: does anyone have a video of Meredith trying to use Anders against you? I heard it's LI specific.
