Okay, my Fenris-loving mage is definitely kissing Anders right now.  I'm going to reload, I PROMISE!  I really will!  I swear...

EDIT:  They're just... too sweet together.  ::sigh:: I'm never going to see the end of Fenris's romance at this rate.

The mages really do get some excellent casting animations.  And Anders makes them that much sexier 

I think my love/hate relationship with Anders is more love than hate.  Even though there is a fair amount of GODDAMNIT ANDERS.  He and my Lady Hawke have such a powerful, emotional, and kind of twisted relationship.

I'm pretty sure our relationship is 50/50. The fact they're still together should most definetely make it more about love but I think my Lady Hawke is figthing a loosing battle. lol at this point she's in a relationship with Justice more than Anders. It's almost as if Justice stole Anders girl. Sad.....

If I could quote their love by Anders himself would be, "I don't know whether to kiss your or kill you....but I can't stop thinking about you..."

Yes, mages have awesome animations but I like watching him start glowing. Hehe~ Both him and Fenris just glow and they look pretty doing it.

I thought Alistair was the better boyfriend but this is coming from a Cousland. Not so great if you're not a noble human.

I prefer romances with funny/sarcastic/charming characters like Alistair and Anders pre-DA2. Anders was a bit too emo for me this time so I miss his personality in Awakening a lot. Even Isabela and Varric could not pull me out of the constant grimness of the game. Isabela has a couple of great line though~

I miss that about DA:O. Some good humor to make the situation just a little better.

Edit:
Fenris for all his emo I enjoyed though. Maybe it's because I met Anders pre-DA2 that it was sad to come to terms with this new Anders.

You know, I think this is one of the biggest reasons I fell for him even though I thought he was my 2nd playthrough. He's just very alluring on the battlefield, and playing a mage as well made us side by side a lot of times. I go so far as to keep him from learning Rock Armor. I mean. That's just clutter.

If you have him in "Panacea" mode, he can't do anything, but heal and basic attacks with his staff. Once you take the mode off, you can use his other spells, but not the awesome healing ones.

To be honest. I completely saw where Anders was coming from. The Templars get away with so much ****. All the mages want to do is be free, not caged like monsters. Because of this they run away and when cornered, despite everything else turn to the forbidden arts because of the small chance they will get away. While I am upset her grace died, Anders will always have my support in blowing up the chantry. How can you revolt when one refuses to take the first step.

Ugh! Tell me about rock armor. Never gave it to him because it was covering his awesome. I got my mage that and she just looked ridiculous in a dress with that thing on. Arcane shield looks better or I would cast a barrier on him so he would be protected and still look awesome.

I can't believe I work my whole combat tactics around what looks good "on" my party. At least I know where my priorities are.

I also think "Would he/she use this? Naah, it's more something [bla] would do.". That's why I like their special abilities.

Yeah I know! I also sacrifice my own armor for what looks good. I did this plenty on DA:O. There are some robes that are better armor than what I have on but they look ugly so I'll wait for the next level up and see if I can get nicer looking ones. I can't stand wearing something ugly for the sake of a good armor.

A bit too "dark" and "emo" for me though. DA:O made it bearable with Alistair and Zevran's humor and I thought it had the right balance but DA2 is just grim! Isabela has like two great lines for me but everything else has to come out of my sassy rogue's mouth.

Making Anders smile takes enough struggle as it is. Heck I can make Fenris smile faster. I like his laugh.

I never let him wear another robe XD The original was... perfect XD

So did that, too. You know, I got the Champion armor for my gal mage, and I was just like ... this is NOT her. Blood on her arm? This isn't my char. So I never wore. Of course, come ending time she was so numb that I think she took a few notches up the badass level and wore it for the final fights. I hated some robes. And I loved some others. Namely, the one that looks like a direct ripoff of the generic robe in DA:O was on my crap list.

Go to the shops, quick save, buy out their stock, try 'em on, and the reload if you don't want them!

AND YES MORE ANDERS HAWT SQUEEING PLZ. I've seriously fallen for this man.

I liked DA2's grimness.  I know the devs compared the series to Song of Ice and Fire and similar low fantasy, but DA:O didn't feel...weighty enough to me.  I went off on my adventure, killed a dragon, got my happy ending, and waltzed happily on my way. DA2 had a great deal of emotional punch.

Mostly, though, I want Anders kisses.  And shirtless Anders.

So in the third act, after you talk to the Mother, instead of choosing "Love is important" I chose the red option. Hawke says "This is war, some things matter more than our love" or something along the lines. Then he smiles and says she's right and that he'd knew she understood.

That just made Act 3 so much better playing as my Apostate

Then I reloaded the kiss and love scene...

You know...because I can't get enough.

Love the screenies! He's so much fun to watch in battle...guess I'll never play on hard...heh

OMG.....stop being ME! lol That's what I do every level up and see what looks good.......I have no problem with the Champion armor except I don't want to look like everyone's Hawke, which is dumb but I still think about....
