A bit too "dark" and "emo" for me though. DA:O made it bearable with Alistair and Zevran's humor and I thought it had the right balance but DA2 is just grim! Isabela has like two great lines for me but everything else has to come out of my sassy rogue's mouth.

Making Anders smile takes enough struggle as it is. Heck I can make Fenris smile faster. I like his laugh. :kissing:

I liked DA2's grimness.  I know the devs compared the series to Song of Ice and Fire and similar low fantasy, but DA:O didn't feel...weighty enough to me.  I went off on my adventure, killed a dragon, got my happy ending, and waltzed happily on my way. DA2 had a great deal of emotional punch.

Mostly, though, I want Anders kisses.  And shirtless Anders.

I guess this is where we have different preferences. I tend to like dark humor (but with some humor) and I thought DA:O pulled it off better in that sense. I don't like depressing things. lol There's so much I can take and my Anders' romance was depressing yo!

I play games to put me in a better mood although I don't write DA2 off. It had some amusing moments.

I think I'm most bitter we didn't get more kisses and I wanted to take the armor off! What's up with that?

I was stuck looking at Isabela's ass and Varric's chest and we couldn't get some shirtless sexy time Anders. Boo!

Yeah I know! I also sacrifice my own armor for what looks good. I did this plenty on DA:O. There are some robes that are better armor than what I have on but they look ugly so I'll wait for the next level up and see if I can get nicer looking ones. I can't stand wearing something ugly for the sake of a good armor.

Again, my priorities! ^_____^

So did that, too. You know, I got the Champion armor for my gal mage, and I was just like ... this is NOT her. Blood on her arm? This isn't my char. So I never wore. Of course, come ending time she was so numb that I think she took a few notches up the badass level and wore it for the final fights. I hated some robes. And I loved some others. Namely, the one that looks like a direct ripoff of the generic robe in DA:O was on my crap list.

Go to the shops, quick save, buy out their stock, try 'em on, and the reload if you don't want them!

AND YES MORE ANDERS HAWT SQUEEING PLZ. I've seriously fallen for this man.

OMG.....stop being ME! lol That's what I do every level up and see what looks good.......I have no problem with the Champion armor except I don't want to look like everyone's Hawke, which is dumb but I still think about....

*sigh* I love my screwed up kind of gameplay :devil:

You are scary. XD
I do that too. I always thought I was the only one... yay XD

And to celebrate this: a bad screenshot XD

lol, we are such losers. xD That's awesome.

I'm not going to complain about lack of shirtlessness, because I think Bioware did as ton of fanservice with good romance scenes to begin with. I still want to know Fenris' full body tattoo design, though. And that half naked prisoner Anders pic should be in-game canon. Somewhere. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

@crotti
hehe~ Great minds think alike!

Edit:
@maselphie
I feel an equal amount of perversion when it comes to Fenris and Anders but I am most curious about those lyrium markings. Show me!

:devil:

OMG. So intense.  I love this!

Does anyone else giggle at the way Anders apparently sticks his manifesto all over the place?  It's going to be hilarious during my rivalmance hearing the vaguely exasperated tone Hawke uses when she finds it on her desk and then wonders if he's sticking it inside ALL the books in the library.

::long pause::

Sticking his "manifesto" everywhere indeed... ::dirty snicker::

At the end...if you spare his life and you go the romantic route and Anders says something about kids....all I could think was....No one must have told Anders that Grey Wardens have a really hard time having kids.....

Or he knows and is trying to pull one over on the Lady Hawkes heartstrings again.

Or having Justice inside him, then going "Vengence ON" might have taken care of that. I mean in the mini stories that the LI's were announced with, he was impaled with a sword and survived that. Could be true, could be just me and my wishful thinking.

You're right. I don't think my Warden told him about the "difficulties" of having children. Anders, just whose children are you talking about? Poor Lady Hawke!

To be honest. I completely saw where Anders was coming from. The Templars get away with so much ****. All the mages want to do is be free, not caged like monsters. Because of this they run away and when cornered, despite everything else turn to the forbidden arts because of the small chance they will get away. While I am upset her grace died, Anders will always have my support in blowing up the chantry. How can you revolt when one refuses to take the first step.

I was thinking about the whole thing with the haters saying Anders is a terrorist....and all I could think is...well wouldn't you become a terrorist too if you were being mistreated by the **** Templars? I mean...people who think "Oh, Anders is sooo bad! he blew up a chantry and killed some people..." think what the templars are doing
1) taking away a mage's free will, against their will and with little provocation (tranquil anyone?)
2) imprisoning them, remember it's stated that the mages are kept locked in their rooms
3) Raping and beating them, this is mentioned a lot.
4) Even going so far as to exectute them with little to no evidence, and no trial

So, to me, people who totally agree with the templars, and can't see it from the other side, are supporters of totalitarian governments and no personal freedoms, and guilty until presumeed innocent. Wow....I'd SOOOO love to live in a world like that. I'd become a terrorist (freedom fighter) too.

You have inadvertently given me the worst mental images EVER.  Now I am picturing tiny sperm yelling "VENGEANCE!" in tiny Justice-y voices.  >_<

I took the "our children" line to be more of a figurative thing.  It's kind of a stock reference in inspirational speeches, after all.  But it still made me squee hopefully.

I don't think so.  You do get to see him writing it during a rivalry, though.  He's working on it instead putting out milk during the kiss scene (if you've been romancing him).

If I'm not mistaken, your character can do that as well. ( o_O It's DA:O but...)

Anders has a far higher death count than anyone.

He is a terrorist.

What about Amaranthine? You could set the city on fire...
(No, I'm not saying that what he did was right.)

xD Wanted to post this. Here's the thread: http://social.biowar...1/index/6577660
I don't get it o_o So many people say he's a terrorist, but your own character can be just the same...

Lol ah the reaction I wanted ;) I do have to wonder about that though. If Hawke did have a child what would be the chances of Justice just taking the child over...That would be scary to me. There has to be some way to get rid of Justice without harming Anders. I mean at the end of DAO it is possible to get the ending where Shale says she's going with Wynne to Tevinter to see if they can change her back to being a dwarf. If that's possible why not save Anders in a similar fashion? Besides I'd prefer non possessed children and no worries about them being possessed either.

LOL. My Lady Hawke got punk'd at the most crucial time in modern Thedas history. Oh well.

By the way not all those that don't support Anders' action are haters. I don't support at all what he did yet I stayed with him and let him live. I realize that is more of a punishment for him. He deserves to live and see what kind of impact his actions have brought to his "cause".

Huh... if you click on the chanter she says
"Those who've done harm unto a house of the Maker have done harm unto the Maker himself."
And Anders makes a very, very noticeable and uncomfortable throat-clearing noise.

This is in act 1, too. So he had some plans in mind, even then, apparently.
